So the manager picks the players and goes to the board with his case to action these signings, no different to any club in the land ffs .

Honestly, how can you not take that quote by Steve, as the club making a decision on the transfers without the managers say?

Steve's been at the club 25 years hes saying what's happen in the past that didnt work, that could of been under any previous owners in his time here ,the club and this committee that he's part of doesn't, he's told everyone the process and the transfer committee doesn't impose any player on the manger its in black and white i cant understand how anyone can twist this into an anti club thread .

Clearly he’s talking about this regime. Ben Turner even came out and said the regime made sure certain players played whether the manager liked it or not. So to think they Havnt made signings behind the mangers back is unbelievable. There’s a reason why we paid Ole to keep quiet on the ongoings at our club. Hopefully it stays in the past now.

Correct Ole had called a press conference to spill it all, many reporters were on their way , then suddenly Ole had signed papers, £3,5mill pay off and mouth was silent.

How anyone is shocked by this is beyond me.Tan and co have been meddling with things they know nothing about for years.Tan even told previous managers to pick certain players for matches.And he and Dalman used to pick managers in turn like it was some pub game.Meddling clowns!!

Tan does not nowadays, as he is hardly involved, just as long as they stay below the low budget , Tan is happy until he can finally sell , once Sala court case is over.

And that could be years according to Borley.

Pretty sure most owners would demand that players they’ve spent money actually get used.

I think that’s a bit different than literally sitting they’re and sending a team sheet to the manager which is the impression some give

Also stories of owners/chairmen going into the dressing rooms before games. I believe these things never or rarely occur these days

He has not stated that this board has picked players for the manager, but it happened in the past, this could have been Sam Hamman Ricky Wright or The Riddler or any of our previous owners, until he can confirm who actually did it then I do not think you can blame this board

Never said I back this board, just pointing out that Borley has not said it was this board, or did you have a private conversation with him and he told you that.
