A few of the lads I play 5-a-side with play for AFC Caerphilly in the South Wales Senior League so I sometimes watch them and always look for their results.
not overly bothered about Newport, merthyr etc.. Newport hated us, and I still remember Merthyr taking the piss when they had Webley, Williams, Wager and Beattie and we were really shit, beleive it or not they were probably the best side in wales for a season or 2. So although I feel sorry for them I can't say I have any real connection.

Newport County.
Can anyone explain to me why traditionally we look benevolently towards Newport County despite being our closest geographical league rivals for many years,, and yet we hate Swansea with a passion?

County and City have always hated each other as far as I'm aware?? Some have said on here before, that they hate Newport more than Swansea!
