Tommy Doyle picks up on some loose Luton play and drives towards the Hatters' goal. He picks out Hugill with a slotted pass and the striker tries to dink it over Shea, but the keeper makes himself big to deny him. Best chance of the game.

James Bree off injured. Harry Cornick on.

Looks like that could be a broken leg for the Luton keeper.

Drameh fires in a cross and Lockyer dives across his goalkeeper, but Shea does well to collect it. However, the Wales international collides with his keeper and it looks a bad injury. We take a stoppage in play.

Lovely footwork from Colwill before laying off Drameh, whose cross is deflected for a corner.

Top save from Phillips. Burke's cross is half-cleared by Drameh to Snodgrass. The Scot whips a shot off with his left foot but Phillips flies through the air and palms it away.

Wonderful breakaway from Cardiff thanks to Tommy Doyle. He sprints 50 yards with the ball before cutting inside, unfortunately his shot is miles wide!

Chance!
Hugill does fantastically to chest a ball forward down and play it into Doyle's path. Doyle runs upfield and it's only Lockyer for company. Doyle squares it to Davies in the box, the striker takes a touch but blazes his effort just over the bar.
Best chance of the half. So close. Should be 1-0.
VERY POOR FINISH

Harry Cornick with a speculative effort from the corner of the box, but it lands on the roof of the net.

Snodgrass with a nice ball in but Nelson does excellently to head away.

How many shots have we had so far on target?
Mon Apr 18, 2022 3:31 pm
Cardiff with an opportunity to break but Doyle gives it away with a poor pass.
Mon Apr 18, 2022 3:32 pm
Kioso hits a dangerous cross and Ng gets a head on it, but knocks it towards his own goal. Luckily for Cardiff, it hits Phillips and he can gather. Looked certain for own-goal territory there.
Mon Apr 18, 2022 3:34 pm
Burke smashes a diagonal ball forward but Phillips does well to take the cross under pressure from Adebayo.

Tommy Doyle lets off an effort inside the box but doesn't trouble Isted, who collectes comfortably.

Doyle hits a corner but it's too close to Isted, who gathers.
