Seems a bit low, but a wage cap is a good idea.

I imagine there will be very generous bonuses based on performances, goals, clean sheets and of course play offs and promotion.

Which I welcome.

Confused :? this says Bacuna’s contract runs out June 2023 - I thought it was June 2022?

Wage Cap is a big thing in the NFL - The way forward is to add a bonus on either results or promotion .

Don' t know if you where replying to me?
If so i do my bit by a season ticket and i am not a multi millionare
and no one is suggesting a free for all as regards wages
but if you are one of the lowest paying club in the division you are not going to attract the best plus what has happened to the board coming out making statements about a push for promotion we don' t hear that anymore
My point was though was the lack of ambition because of finacial constraints been so low are going to be read by fans as no ambition which will effect attendances and season tickets
We all have finacial problems
but if you run and own a football club there is every likelyhood that money is going to be needed and possibly lost and you need a owner who has ambition for the club and i honestly think tan has lost interest in cardiff city and the board are no better.

No mate it was just a general comment, trouble is we just spunked so much money in previous years Tans hands have been burnt + with the pandemic hitting clubs its a wise decision.

I'm looking forward to not seeing Cardiff sign aging ex prem players on high wages and doing nothing for us.

I bet if we are in a good position to challenge Tan would invest in Jan window

Not the best advert for season tickets, anyone know when they are on sale?

I'm concerned just like most fans are, but it's not always about having the highest paid players. It's also about having heart and desire, I mean look at Luton this season and Barnsley last season

This wage cap could actually be a good way to introduce passion into the squad. If the club play it right.
Liverpool offer much lower wages than the other top clubs but incentivise the players with bigger bonuses and you can’t argue their squad lacks passion.
Hopefully we’re giving low wages and big bonuses.

Is Bacuna still on £32k?
