Lot of people get paid monthly now so hopefully we will see a ‘surge’ in ticket sales next week and have the full house all our fans want and the players and coaching staff deserve :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

I read somewhere that the red Upper Ninian section is being kept for socially distancing supporters. This means the capacity will only be 27000.
I hope its bullshit. Be great to see over 30000

Your right
It's for st holders to socially distance ....but they are not their normal seats so club are entitled to move them ... no way will club not use upper ninian if demand is there... is social distancing mandatory anymore or as WG got rid of rule?

The gate will be less than some expect IMO.
Our support is fickle and whether the missing 000’s will return for a one off mid table match is questionable (irrespective of the opponents).
It not being on tv might add a few more

Even the 'Jacks' haven't sold out (not in any footballing terms anyway) for this game and current sales are reported as being a little over 23,000 (inc. season ticket holders)

For me, that's a decent crowd for a 'local interest only' game that will serve only to boost the 'bragging rights' of one side or the other; hopefully in our favour, so we don't have to bat off the embarrassing, feckless idiots that will surely infest this Forum

No one is going to be promoted, no one (thankfully) is going to be relegated; it's just a 'grudge' game between the Welsh capital intelligenti and the uneducated country bumpkins :laughing6:

Its ridiculous why we cannot fill the stadium have we really lost that many fanscthrought the pandemic
There are 3 home games left and rhis has to be the biggest left so i cannot understand granted nothing to play apart as said bragging right
but if you love football and an atmosphere whats the problem enjoy it there' s enough sh.t going on in the world.

I agree Minty but unfortunately for us, not everyone does it seems. Still I’m expecting 25+ and that’s not bad.

Relegation, pandemic and apathy when not winning are the three main reasons. People have found more important things to do with their (limited) time and wives, girlfriends, husbands, partners and children have realised there are actually 7 full days in a week...

Anywhere near 25k in current circumstances is okay when (like me and a few others) you sat amongst the 3k or so before Sam ;)

We didn’t fill the ground for the derby before Covid.

That’s also nothing to be embarrassed about, we’ve got a relatively big stadium considering the size of our club. 3rd biggest in the Championship and (If my Googling is right) 15th biggest stadium in the football leagues. I’m sure most people can agree we’re not the 15th biggest club in the leagues.

Looking this morning. less than 90 tickets left in the main bowl and only ninian upper left in quantity.

Surely will be well over 25k

I was online last week looking to buy a ticket for my son and there weren't many tickets left in the Ninian at all - there was one section where there seemed to be a taken seat with a few spare seats around it... "there are some spare seats dad, can you get me one there".... was about to then I realised that was Dai Hunts seat. "You don't want to sit next to Dai Hunt son".. ended up paying more for him to sit in the Grandstand. A price worth paying.

I think that will be around the figure this time too. Checked with ticket office earlier, Canton, Ninian and GS virtually sold out, multiple singles in FS and good availability in Upper Ninian. Be great to get more but it's looking good so far.
