Sorry to say I think we could see this coming and I know the injured players are a big loss, let's face it they would be a big loss to any team.
But having said all that when I watched DJ pre match interview yesterday I suspected the worse. His body language just shouted out "woe is me".
The interview was just over 5 minutes and as usual contained his 3 stock questions and answers. I won't know about the injured players until we have a look at them, there are no easy games in this league and it's a lot to ask players who haven't played much since Noah was a boy to play 3 games a week.
If that was the basis of his team talk then little wonder the lads in the "black" failed to turn up today.
Forget the injured players and ask yourself if Roy Keane, Neil Warnock, Kevin Blackwell or Billy Davies would accept these performances.
DJ will and when we hear his after match commments expect the stock answers, you cannot defend like that an expect to get anything, look we'll get the lads in tomorrow and show them the video and of course this will be seen as the end of the world in our part of the world. He will pobably dump on Adam Matthews as well because he only gets a look in when the only other option is Quinn.
Never mind the injured players will be back soon, results will improve, we will maintain our position in the top 6 but the test of a manager is not how you do when the sun is shinning.
Sadly we know with our manager exactly how we do when it's raining.![]()

If we had won today then it would have been our best start in 51 years, you know what that means don't you ? Despite the number of promotions and cup success we have had in the last 5 decades we were 90 minutes away from the best ever start to a campaign.
Even the most adamant of you that want him out and think he is not the man to take us forward surely have sympathy with the injuries.
The 'Jones Out ' brigade ( sorry dont know what else to call you) are in a win-win situation the way I see, if we get promoted then every City fan will be delirious and celebrate but if we miss out then DJ goes, so I think it could be an easy year for those who doubt him.
Is he the perfect manager, no he is it and that is the reason he is with Cardiff City, but to get on his back after 2, and I admit, poor results is unfair I believe.

I have no problem being called one of the Lones Out Brigade as long as I can call you pro DJ crowd DJites![]()

Anyway I have a question for you DJites he is forever telling us that players who miss a full pre season will take time to get to full match fitness, indeed who can forget the my players are fatigued whine on Tuesday evening.
Anyway to the point Connor Wickham played 83 minutes for Ipswich today and this 17 year old lad played a blinder putting himself about and kicking everything and everyone in sight. Now he was injured pre season and this was his first game back.
How on earth can he manage to put in a performance like that beating up our 2experienced CB in the process, according to DJ this is not possible or is it not possible for our players.
Are Ipswich doing something different to prepare the players or is it simply the Roy Keane effect.
I know to you DJites I will sound like a heratic but really this is just a legitimate question.![]()

But over a Season, you hardly ever get full strength and DJ has to learn to deal with this.
