I'd only take the playoffs now if we were guaranteed to win them - which nobody can do - anything other than promotion this season is failure now based on where we finished last year and our marquee signings this year :ayatollah:

I agree with you mate........................We shoukld walk the league on paper wether we do or not is something else.

Also I thought injured players went to their parent clubs for treatment...I.E Kelvin Etuhu last season.......don't get it? does the injury have to be of a particular kind? You would think Man City would want the same for Craig as kelvin?????? Not to mention H2o (DRINKY...MAN UTD).........WHAT IS THE SCORE WITH THIS?

Reasonable question.

I would imagine it depends on insurance etc... If H20 is tied to a longish contract and MANURE and has an injury that potentially is going to keep him out for a while the parent club have to follow some kind of protocol in case it becomes a major issue. It's abysmal that we can lose so many key players early doors, but I sense this is something to do with t'he lack of preseason they nearly all had and then being chucked in to full blooded games. Bothroyd barely played preseason and as for the loanees well I cannot really comment. As soon as we get them all back we flying but I think we need to pick up 7+ points between now and the international break regardless of who our starting eleven are.

We need the anchor in mid-field Oli has done a superb job but is injured. I don't think we have an effective back up in this position. It's obviously what we need...how many clean sheets? then bang injury and leicester put 2 past us.

Danny Drinkwater went back to Man Utd in the week to be assessed on his injury and he has now been told he can continue his treatment at Cardiff City.

three weeks out according to bluebirds in the other thread. I'll take that as long as Oli gets back quick.

So tomorrow apart from Koumas/Ledley it could be last year's team right?
