Morison has done an ok job so far, but just an ok job not brilliant. You have to take into account that somehow McCarthy turned us into a pretty useless spineless side who could neither defend or score a goal. To get four points after eight straight defeats and against three sides in or near to the playoffs is no mean feat even if we were lucky not to be further behind against both Stoke and Huddersfield. There is evidence of some green shoots of recovery and obviously Morison is the best person to integrate the young players into the team.

Personally I think anything other than giving Morison a go till January is taking a risky leap in the dark from a board not always renowned for its good football judgement. There is no real way of knowing whether Morris Beale or Flynn would be better managers than him so lets stick with Morison for the moment.
