But I do think we don't need the 3 centre backs. Would be better off moving Colwill in to the 10 role and another wide man. Shame we don't have any in the squad!

Completely against the run of play, QPR score.

Defence is completely split open by Dozzell and Grey slots home.

Morrison and Vaulks caught out by that ball by the looks.

As MUCH as we are trying more to keep possession and play football in triangles, there is NO pressure on the keeper or 2 CBs. No harrying or pressure. The attack seems laboured.

Great for the midfield to have the ball, but at the moment is backwards and sideways.

A little unfair to be going in at half-time a goal down, but the Bluebirds have done more than enough to show both their mettle and determination

Some clever movement and passing has promised much without the final product

Definitely 'promising' and hopefully it will reap its reward in the second half

The football is much better today but the reality is we are a poor side regardless of whose in charge. Fingers crossed we will get an equaliser but I suspect 0 v 2 will be the final score and the end of the little Morison experiment.

Started off ok but a pretty boring match overall. Are we ever going to score a first half goal. Passing the ball about better than we did against Stoke for the first hour anyway. QPR always look a bit more likely to score. Need another second half revival

Then Cardiff break, Giles bursts down the wing and squares it to Colwill, but Odubajo flies in the way to clear.

A bit of inspiration is needed,get Harris on.

Better style of football. Maybe time for Morrison to make a sub and go for it. Perhaps take Pack off (something M Mc M never did) and get more oomph in midfield??

A long throw comes off a QPR player and is turned towards their own goal. Luckily for them, Dieng pounced and gathered.

Starting to look a little familiar now with some players (Morrison in particular) looking tired and leggy

Oh that could have been ugly. Morrison back to Smithies, Smithies to Nelson, Nelson to Pack who tries to lob it back to Smithies. The keeper miskicks it to Dykes, who tries to loft it over him - but it's over the bar, too.

Should have been 2-0!

Austin chests into the path of Dykes, who tries to slot his one-on-one into the corner, but a sprawling Morrison makes a goal-saving block!

Showing good spirit in this second half. But low on quality.

Very pleasing that the amount of long balls has significantly reduced.

Smithies can't kick the ball very well.

City picking up a little again without really threatening and we're giving the ball away too easily

The referee isn't hekping by falling for QPR's time-wasting tactics and looking to give every petty decision to the visitors

This is really poor quality stuff we look like a league one side and will be if we can't improve on it. Can't blame Morison too much we are just not very good.

Only 4 mins added time after 5 subs and an hour (or so it seemed) of QPR 'injuries'

Well,much better from us but still a bit conservative.Lots to like about the performance tonight and if we keep playing that way the results will come.
