And in that case, our manager, Darren...!

Not knocking Mick McCarthy, as I've now realised he is on a hiding to nothing for this season and (possibly) next; but he won't change his style of play and/or approach to games

Been saying this for awhile now whilst hes good looking at the fact hes only lost about 4 games in 26 we are drawing far to many games only 1 team above us last season drew more and they ended up promoted (brentford) it's his mindset and it wont change bit like NW in that respect... so at end season we need a new progressive manager I wouldn't mind jimmy floyd at burton but definitely need someone while we have so many out contract and can easily change way we play, but leave MM in charge and side will play same way as we already do and that be waste of our young talent we got coming through and any new players brought in to replace deadwood going...

We played some half decent stuff last season just after he took over. Scoring goals for fun.

Very strange how he has reverted and actually gone backwards to the current style.

It seems clear the club have a 'plan' and the end of this deason will be telling...

Personally, based on little but a gut feeling, I think we are being set up for sale...

Interesting times ahead regardless and this Forum will be a busy place as the season unfolds... ;)

A good point and the odd thing is that it changed almost as soon as he had secured his contract, Neil :?

That is very strange if so.

I think it was linked to Bennett’s injury too. We lost a player who really helped the system work. Bennett linked with Murphy very well and brought a lot out of Murphy. Ojo too.

A fair point that slipped my mind, tbh...! :ayatollah:
