There’s no excuse for it nowadays as things can be very easy however we have had issues for time memorium at the club re tickets.

remember Man City in the cup 1994 ? tickets went on sale at 9AM on a Sunday morning and all 22k had gone by the afternoon...the club had how many full time staff back then ?

The transfer committee are to blame for this?

I mean that’s a stretch.

But it is poor I agree. Someone needs to grip it.

how is it a stretch....drop the word transfer because this has zero to do with transfers and its the same people....were they not aware even of the complete cock up on the first game ?

As i posted earlier, when tickets went on for sale for the last home game versus Shrewsbury in 1992/93- promotion clincher- the huge queue was soon sorted out by Rick Wright, who rolled up his sleeves and started selling tickets himself.

Andrew, why it bothers some so much is beyond me...

Oh, hang on, it's another chance to have a 'pop' at the club they purport to 'love'

I'm with you; so what, so long as we all get in on Saturday? It worked okay (in fact, quite well) last time out... :ayatollah:

Neil, skidemin has changed his tack of late...

It hasn't gone unnoticed but we do wonder who is pulling his strings...? ;)

Completely lacking in loyalty and enjoys having a pop at the club blue is more apt.

Can you change his username?

Yes i remember it well, i even struggled to get a ticket, but the club had more indians then than chiefs, now its the other way around.

As Corky said they are running the tickets office on bare min staff.

It only worked for those who were a able to sort it out. There was nowhere near the 17,000 that was reported as the attendance. A 78 year old I spoke to last Monday missed the Barnsley game because he didn't know how to access his ticket and i wouldnt imagine he was the only one. I spent three hours trying to sort mine out- which you kindly offered advice on- and loads of other people had hassle. People are not having a pop at the club for the sake of it. They have been messed around big time by the people who run our club who seem to be completely detached from those of us who love the club.

If loads of people are having no problems that's fine for them, but loads aren't finding it easy and are being made to jump through hoops to get something which we paid for over 12 months ago.

We were told that the reason cards weren't sent out for Barnsley was because of the lateness of the Welsh Assembly confirmation. We now find out that that was at best a convenient excuse and they weren't ready anyway. I find it astonishing that anybody can defend the club over this.

But i will say this if fans want to really go they will and they can pay on the day :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I emailed the ticket office this afternoon and in fairness had a prompt reply;

tickets@cardiffcityfc.co.uk

I agree that the current situation is shambolic, and only goes to further demonstrate how bad things are behind the scenes.
