I had not realised Barnsley lost Mowett to WBA until this week. That is a massive massive hole for them to fill. If he had stayed I would have put my money on the Tykes to win. Now with home advantage I feel we can win this one.

A little bit of a mishap early on. McGuinness' clearance is deflected towards Phillips' goal and he has to act smartly to get down and smother the danger.

What great play from young Joel Bagan. He cuts out a pass in his own half and sets Giles free down the left. The Wolves loanee then swings in a pinpoint cross to the vacant Bacuna, but his volleyed shot, from 10 yards, blazes over the bar!

James Collins once again does excellently down the right and he slides in a low cross and Bagan looks certain for a tap-in at the back post, but Helik, somehow, manages to get his foot in the way!

Inches away there for City.

Collins again does well. He cuts inside and hammers a low shot at the near post, forcing a smart save from his namesake in the Tykes net.

Collins chases down what looks like a lost cause but wins a corner. What a great half he's had.
