Peter Zois - Without doubt the single worst performance from someone in a Cardiff shirt v Rotherham in 1998.
From Wikipedia - Zois represented all of the Victorian State teams at junior level before receiving a scholarship at the Victorian Institute of Sport playing in the former National Youth League.[1] Before making his move overseas he played a season with South Melbourne in the former National Soccer League. He also spent a short spell at Cardiff City, being brought in on a trial period due to an injury to Jon Hallworth. His only match for the Bluebirds came against Rotherham United which ended in a 2–2 draw, but an erratic performance led then manager Frank Burrows to cancel his trial spell the next day.

Jimmy Rollo, there's another.
Pat Mountain - what a legend!
Mon Sep 13, 2010 6:50 pm
(Geoff?) Parsons - a goalkeeper we signed from Palace about 1970 ish? (I'm sure someone will correct me as my reference books are in the loft!) Saved a penalty against Middlesborough when we were 3-1 up, then dropped 3 bollocks in the last 15 minutes to lose 4-3. I don't think he played for us again and finished his career playing for Slough Town
Mon Sep 13, 2010 7:01 pm
He has been mentioned in this post - it has to be my namesake...........

I find it hard to believe anyone is saying Nicky Richardson? He was no world-beater but
was an integral part of a promotion winning side
Leyton Maxwell was a good call

little fat boy, he was embarassingly bad particularly
as he'd come from the 'Liverpool School Of Excellence'
Andy Jordan

Awful
But right up there in terms of the fact that he was a Premiership footballer, a USA
international and a 'name' player in the States....
Eddie Johnson
I still have nightmares where I'm a fly on the Dressing Room Wall when Fulham found
out we were going to take him off their hands. They are all rolling around like the
Roman soldiers in the Life Of Brian

Winston Faeber
Nicky Richardson
Gareth Stoker
Not sure about the worst but the City player I hated the most was David Penny for obvious reasons.
I agree with most of the above especially Schwikendorf I remember some young lad had his name printed on the back of his City shirt must have cost him a fortune to print,
someone mentioned John Williams a very over weight defender think we played Maidstone on New years day early 90's we lost 5-0 Williams got sent off for handling the ball in our penalty area and has got to be one of the worst City performances ever.
Winston Faeber saw him score a cracking goal against Oxford at the Manor ground ,he must have been wearing his Johan Cruyff boots that day.
Gareth Stoker what a terrier in midfield he was 5ft nothing but never shied away from a tackle but his overall play was poor.

Mon Sep 13, 2010 8:54 pm

Tony Philliskirk

Rhys Westons has to be up there.
remember him running flat out to attack when the ball was lumped over his head to our defence and when we attacked running back to defend! Never seemed to know where he was!!!!
