Defaulted on payments of transfer, so I’m assuming it relates to the sala fee?

Could be wrong?!

Dalman said a while ago we had fee put aside if we needed to pay… a few months back he said we’d go through the hope! I don’t trust the man personally!

Not the sala fee that is eufa not the efl and its ongoing so at the moment e do not owe any fee

Perhaps the club would like to keep its paying customers informed of what is going on , especially as they are trying to sell season tickets.
Shocking supporter engagement

Agree they need to pull there fingers out ,if they came out and said look we are skint due to pandemic but are trying to remain competitive with free transfers then people would handle that but to not even release a statement on why we are under the embargo is shocking.

The committee is a shambles let’s be fair . Tan and Dalman are making our club look like a laughing stock and continue to do so . Be interesting in Season ticket sales so far and until this is sorted how it affects the club financially with no new signings coming in

Yep.

This Embargo is due to the fact we have not paid the Sala instalment. That's the rule and none of us should be surprised. The club now have an excuse to not spend a penny on new players and as you say that is what they want.

Are you sure this is for Sala as the case has not been resolved via the sport of arbitration court case?

Who else could it be?

As far as the EFL is concerned we have failed to pay the instalment. The fact its gone to CAS is neither here or there.

Pick one from Vassell , Flint, White , Glatzel, Pack and NG all purchased after Sala

that's scary if we have not paid these off.

Sala is several years ago if it was his transfer we would be permanently in embargo as payment due 18mnths ago or longer? If it was him as we havent paid it why were we not sanctioned before for non payment?

The reason behind that is the EFL have only in the last year declared we need to pay it officially. its why we have gone to the CAS.

the efl can declare no such thing.... FIFA made a decision nearly 2 years ago and we appealed to CAS a process thats still on going...

If we keep signing players for millions and, sell them at a massive loss. Is it really a surprise?
How long before players wages don't get paid

The club should have brought in a director of football a long time ago

It's gone 11.30 pm and neither Sky Sports nor BBC have mentioned any embargo. That's more than 4 hours since the first post. :? :?

That's my understanding thats why I put out what I said you cannot sanction club thats appealing a decision while appealing hasn't been heared it's like finding u guilty before the trial...

There's growing confusion on the subject and I can only state what I was told, i.e. it's a small issue that is in hand...

In the meantime, the bashers (led by the bitter and club rejected Daya) will continue to, erm, bash...

Whatever floats yer boat, I guess...!

I don't think Tan was ever a billionaire. I remember reading the Sunday Times rich list a few years ago and they reckoned he was worth somewhere in the region of £700 million.Very rich but not a billionaire in UK currency. Obviously this was well before covid which will have affected his wealth considerably as much of it is in the leisure sector.

Is it true that this embargo does not affect free transfers and loans? If this is the case it might not affect us at all as. I don't think we actually ever were going to buy anyone for money in this window.

I will wait for the official release and rationale before using the opportunity to slam management when nobody knows shit....

Last time a technicality which was all in hand, yet people like to go off handle..... let’s see what it’s about before all jumping to conclusions forcing opinions out there without knowing what’s going on.... :ayatollah:

Still nothing mentioned on BBC, Sky, or the Welsh media.

Would have thought at least one of them would have published something by now.

Annis I have misunderstood the rules, if under a transfer embargo you can still sign players who are not registered, but if they are registered with another club, a loan is possible but the parent club has to pay all their wages, I cannot see any club doing that, so it would only be unregistered players. This embargo will be off very soon, not going to effect us signing players just a slight delay
