A good start from Boro but nothing too threatening as yet. Nelson boots one clear and it's a Middlesbrough throw-in deep in their own half.

Kieffer Moore wins a free-kick 30 yards from goal and Harry Wilson lines it up.

Morrison pinged for a foul throw. Really tough start so far for both teams.

City looking better now

Murphy breaks down the left and frees Harry Wilson, who fires a low cross across the box, but it is intercepted before it reaches Kieffer Moore.

Now a Good spell for Boro there. A few crosses into the box but the last of which pings off Nelson and out for a corner.

Pack and Nelson do well to shepherd the ball out with Duncan Watmore bearing down on it after a nice through-ball from Mendez-Laing. Goal kick.

Boro looking far better than City

Cardiff have barely touched the ball the last five minutes. Boro look really organised and composed, but are yet to really pose a big threat.

I agree Paul

Watmore skins Morrison too easily in the box and pulls the trigger, but Nelson does brilliantly to block the shot at the far post. That could easily have gone in.
