Panorama - Vaccinations the disinformation war - Tonight

Since the BBC has been infected by the far left, that once decent show is now worth missing.

It was good, it showed the anti-vaxers meeting in London, a right strange lot, just shouting things like Corona isn't real and we had flu when we were young and didn't lock down. The first character refused to wear a mask on the tube, wow what a rebel and just didn't want a vaccine because she didn't believe in covid and shouldn't be made to do things like have to wear a mask. She sounded very principled and adamant about her rights and what the government should be doing and was protesting for people not to have it either. At the end they did a recap Julia has already had the vaccine because she's a care worker and needed t for work

Have to be fair, I watched and all I saw was the usual 'anti-establishment' odd-balls that would frequent pretty much any event on any subject, so long as it gave them a platform for their (I'll be polite here) 'largely uninformed' views

Did the Anti-Vaxxers more harm than good (excuse the pun) and the girl on the train said nothing of sense and then worsened her stance by stating "I don't believe in Covid" followed by "I only now three people who have had it..."

Yeah it's a sensitive subject and I shouldn't get involved in it really. Just making the point panorama programme just a hatchet job on anti vaxxers. We need more balance in life in general i'll eave it there. Cheers for the wishes

Ever since the infamous Tommy TakeDown Panorama episode (which they never showed). Where Robinson / Laxley Lennon put an undercover journalist in with Panorama head John Sweeney. Robinson managed to show that Panorama lie, twist and manipulate evidence. Sweeney himself revealed himself to be somewhat racist and homophobic. He used Hope not Hate to go after witnesses and intimidate them etc. It ended with Sweeney getting sacked and the bbc never aired the show.

So for me - 100 % zero integrity in the work they have done or do in future. All their 'investigations' need to be called into question. Im sure tonights episode will be no different

Disingenuous to claim all anti-vaxxers do not beleive infectious diseases exist. Some might even agree with mask wearing in public, some wouldn't.

Everyone as the right to chose to do whatever they want, but it looks like not having a vaccine may carry consequences, some employers are trying to put them into employment contracts, and it also looks light flight operators and certain entertainment venues like pubs may also need proof of vaccines for entry.

What I still don't understand is why people who are scared to have the vaccine or can't due to medical reasons try to put others off when it will undoubtedly provide them with risk free protection?

Exactly this mate, I dont get it either. Vaccination is the only way we are getting out of this and uptake needs to be a certain % for it to be effective. If you dont want the vaccine, fine dont have it. But if you want some degree of normality back just shut the f**k up and let the rest of the population take responsibility for it. Honestly dont get these people who go out of their way to try and discourage others from having it.

In still awaiting an answer for those of us who cannot have the jab for varying reasons?, oh just shove us with the anti vaxxers I guess!! Cant watch my club,due to disability of having serious allergy problems!! Ahh well.

They may be able to give you an exemption passport, that would be fair, the only problem is like Blue badge system, it's open to abuse people with no real reason to have one would bombard the doctors trying to make a case for it?

Businesses have prevented certain people with certain medical issues from accessing their services for decades. Certain airlines will not allow you to fly with health conditions, adrenaline based activities like paint balling, SCUBA diving, dirt biking, etc can all say if you suffer from heart issues or similar you can’t partake. Theme parks will deny people of certain heights and weight access to their rides. Numerous countries require certain vaccines to enter. Employers can reject applicants on health grounds too.

If, which is still a big if, Cardiff City say vaccines are a requirement to go to games it won’t be a permanent measure. Much like lockdowns and mask wearing the vaccine is another method to reduce transmissions and make out breaks die out much quicker so once an X number of people have been vaccinated or cases are at Y then the club would open up access to more people who couldn’t or didn’t get vaccinated.
Remember, this is a big IF.
