If Joe Rodon is worth 11m plus add on's Kieffer must be worth a least a couple of million more than that.

Give examples of when the has done that?

You cant deny Tan has approved/sanctioned the sale or loan of players when our squad was already threadbare without providing any or adequate cover.

To me that shows no ambition or enthusiasm. If he thought we were adequately covered then it simply shows his lack of football knowledge.

Anyway, I maintain Moore WILL be sold next season if Tan remains. Whether we will get market value, and indeed what in fact is market value is up for debate.

Patto..for whatever silly fee we accepted..

500k.

In today’s market, for a player earning 20k, we probably did well getting 500k.

terrible business.

There have been occasions where we've managed to get very good deals for average players (£8m for Big Ken, £4m for Joe Mason to name two) but we've also let many players go over the years for much less than they were worth for one reason or another.

Nathan Blake, Simon Hayworth, Cameron Jerome, Roger Johnson, Gabbidon and Collins, Kav and more recently Paterson and of course the ultimate "giveaway" being Ramsey for a one off £4.5m with no add ons (well done The Riddler)

Of course player values have dropped due to the pandemic but if Keiffer Moore keeps up his current form he has to be worth at least £12m-£15m.

One of his main assets is that not only is he extremely useful playing for a team with a direct style like us but he is a good enough player to thrive in a more "footballing" side also.

Watch City sell him for the first offer that comes in over £3m.

Conditions are (thankfully) different at the club...

Then we HAD to sell to survive; not so much now :ayatollah:

This is a general reply not to you Sven.

Under Tan we never sell players for less than their value. Name me one and I’ll apologise.

Paterson you state as one example. Not in that slightest. £500k was market value in the current market. Big wages to boot. Same as what we got for Etheridge.

We have benefitted from the current market with Kiefer Moore. We can’t have it both ways. The market is down.

Going back to when we got relegated first time. We got great prices for Mutch, medel and Caulker. We got a great price for Zohore. We accepted a great price for Morrison but he chose to stay.

Back in the day we faced court three or four times a year for unpaid tax we had to sell on the cheap including Rambo to Arsenal for a pitiful amount.

Neil, you know me; it's either right or wrong and that's a good response. Compared to others, we have our very own Tan Sri Vincent Levy on the selling front! ;) :thumbright: :D

based on Rodon only playing half the time for Swansea and him playing or not making little difference to their results....

Young ball playing centre back.

Always gonna be worth a lot.

Love Kiefer but he’s 28. The big teams aren’t gonna be in for him it’s gonna be a Burnley or a Watford (if they go up).

Current value has to be upward of £10M/£15,as goalscoring forwards in the Championship are like gold dust. Especially those that have done it regularly at International level. I mean, we turned down £18M for Ken!

If Tan remains here next season, I fully expect Moore to be sold to a Premier or Top Championship side, and good luck to him.

Let's make sure we build a side and a future around him.

Difficult to judge, but a team coming down like Fulham or WBA wanting to bounce back would pay a small fortune

He's a great player for us.
