Mate, Tomlins £100,000 a month, that’s half a million wasted there and all the other years he’s been here and transfer fee over three million.
Needs to go this summer, we can’t afford him and get nothing back .

Becareful with comments like this because Sir Sven will come after you with his army of loyalists.

Spot on post though .

Sir Sven...

Sticks and stones, money man; that's all you have and I'm actually embarrassed for you...

Shame you can't stick up for yourself rather than currying favour with others

Army of 'loyalists'? :?

Priceless! A very apt term for you, Monsieur Marius... ;) :laughing6:

There he is ,lol lol, lol. Doing what he does best. The king of shills!!!!

Embarrassed for me?? you should be ashamed with all your shilling.

You often place my name in threads to score points for a few laughs at my expenses. So have this for free and shill away............

Do you know something, fella; I actually wrote a long ridiculing response to this, posted and then deleted because it is clear you just don't 'get' what's been going on and I don't think you ever will, so it's a pointless waste of my time...

Take that as you like but you clearly like to dish your 'jealous of others' money obsession out yet cannot take it back for what it is, i.e. nothing too serious (not to me anyway)

If you have anything else to say, take it to 'pm' and I'll gladly engage to save hurting your feelings publicly :thumbright:

Feel free everyone insult away. Couldn't give a fu... in any case. Some of the comments on here prove my point on us and them.

The beautiful is game is dead and ita all about money, money, money now. Its just a shame more is not done to fight back. I find hilarious that people actually think that football clubs actually got your interests at heart. Fu... hilarious, lol, lol.

All about opinions, and all sides of a debate can have one. As for sir Sven is track record on here speaks for itself.

We might still in the Prem if Tomlin had a rush of professionalism that season.

Fantastic player but wasted his talents. Probably still got a limited roll for us , but I guess he'll just run his contract down and play the club again.

Firstly, I'm glad you note (quote) "EVERYONE" but that's stretching it a little even for you... ;)

It proves NOTHING and if you really think people can't see through your (quote) "couldn't give a fu..!" comment, you are in denial

I asked you to 'pm' me, if you felt the need to take it further but you clearly 'bottled' it and you first neef to look at your own track record as a broken record with no back up

If you are so unhappy with the beautiful game and those who run it, go do/watch something else. I'm told paint drying is a relatively cheap past time

But trust me, I won't be so (relatively) polite restrained when/if you do... ;)

You really don't know me, if you think that

What are you scared of? The truth...?

It was just a rather generous offer for you not to embarrass yourself further...

Up to you, though. You're certainly a glutton for punishment and you can't or won't see it...

Enough for now though. I'm busy earning a decent crust :occasion5:

How dare you say the truth!!!

Mate, the truth is , the clubs wasted millions on Tomlin, he has hardly played for us in three years, just throwing money at him.

If you look at the last year or so though mate, I'm sure you'll agree that even when he was carrying an injury he was the main threat in our team. He's had his operation so hopefully will come back good
I agree that particularly his early years here were not good (overweight, unfit, demons) but let's look at now.

I am looking at now mate and not played for five months at a cost of half a million

The blame lies with harris, tomlin was carrying this injury at the tail end of last season, was pushed on,to help achieve the play offs, which worked in the clubs favour, but hardly tomlins!! He should have had this operation then, but didnt and has paid the price!! We have had players earning big before now, like Connolly and a few others, who were paid well by the club, whilst being long term absentees, thats just football I guess.

I’d rather have him fully fit in August for a full season rather than rush him back. Hopefully we won’t be in a position where we desperately need him any time soon.
All good here, all things considered. Hope dame got you mate.

Meanwhile, McCarthy says Lee Tomlin's initial return date of February 20 is now being revised, with the forward suffering a setback in his bid to return.

"It's not happening," said McCarthy when asked about his previous timeframe for Tomlin's return.

"We've encouraged that definitely, but he's come back and trained two or three times for the 23's and then gone off because his hip's been bothering him.

"The program was that he was going to have two to three weeks training, have two games with the 23s and then train with us.

"Well, he's not completed two or three weeks training and he's not had those two 23s games. Pure and simple because his hip's bothering him.

"Unless his hip gets sorted out, it's unlikely. I'm still waiting for Tommo to complete those two full weeks training and have couple of weeks' training. As yet, he's not been able to, so it's sad for him."

One man who has certainly staked a claim for a place is Liverpool loanee Ojo, who has netted two goals and earned one assist under the new boss.

For me if Tomlin does not play 10 games from now to the end of the season, we are better cutting our losses and shipping him out.

I hope you’re wrong too, I think that now he’s had the operation that, (in my opinion), has held him back, will be sorted and we will see the Tomlin that we all want perform for the team. I for one am excited that we will soon see him back in the first 11, I think we’ll need him tbh.
Let’s all give him a chance to show us once again his worth for Cardiff City. :ayatollah: :thumbright:
