the academy itself has either or is in the process of being down graded and as for personnel its like a revolving door down there..on top of that the one academy player to come through for us this year mark harris,is from swansea...and the boy thats being raved about in our under 23s Colwill lives 10 miles from the liberty

Beings you asked , and remember playing professional football doesn't begin and end in the PL :

Connor Roberts. 1st team squad
Liam Cullen Just scored two goals v Forest in the FA cup 1st team squad
Brandon Cooper Just returned from a very successful loan period with Newport and in the match day squad
Ollie Cooper again just scored v Forest in the cup and in the 1st team squad
Cabango came from Newport when he was 16 with no fee involved 1st team squad
Dan James was 14 when he arrived at Swansea again no transfer fee
Liam Shepard now playing for Newport
and that list is only for the past 5 years , there's many more who are still making living at a professional level

Revolving door not sure if that counts as a a bad thing , Mark Allen ex Man City & Rangers is our Director of Football , new faces new ideas and who incidentally replaced Nigel Rees who oversaw one of the Academy's most successful period , other than that the Academy personnel have remained consistent for quite a number of years There's plenty of talent in s Wales & beyond its just knowing where to look .

You beat me to it , that stat re money made from their academy is impressive as well, I would include players they have bought in for peanuts and sold on for a massive amount. I hate to say it - but they are better in this dept than we are - or have ever been)

Us - Joe Ledley, Aaron Ramsey , Jo Jacaobson, Josh McGuiness - anyone else of any note ?[/quote]

The are including cabango and James in their list so I think we could include Ralls in ours, cane here at roughly the same age the two boys above went to Jack's.

Light years, how exactly is that worked out. We were in the premiership last, we ended up higher in the league last year, and we both got to the same point in the playoffs.

Cardiff city currently are a" in limbo" club with no clear direction or future. Our owner will not spend any time soon and we get "in the loop" managers who will do f**k all. There is no long term plan period all suggestions gladly accepted.

i didnt mention playing pro football in the lower leagues and doubt that others when talking about your academy producing meant that either...but... we too have products in match day squads.... and on loan..that have played in a cup game .and infact ones who have left but are pros elsewhere lower leagues ...as long a list as yours..... which tbh just proves what i said.... Dan James.was 3 months off his 17th birthday so why lie ? .cobango had played in newports 1st team...my point re academy personnel yes they change all the time which was my point... maybe your new ones are better than the previous bunch who you seemed to brag up to the hilt ..who knows ?
bottom line... joe allen { same age as Arron Ramsey } ..rodon...roberts... and a few maybees
