Apart from Moore, we have really wasted some money on strikers over the last few years. I’m hoping Max Watters turns out be a bargain, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Im obviously wrong though if the Mainz manager rates him . That's game set and match. Strange how Warnock , Harris and Mccarthy don't they must know nothing about football.

He has played 1100 minutes of football this season
Scored three goals. Thats twelve full games so one goal in four, or if you look another way one every 8 appearances made.
Had only 21 shots which is less than one per game, in comparison Morrison has had more on 23
Has a goal conversion rate of 14% which is piss poor
He has one assist and created only 6 chances for teammates which is strange as he's supposed to be a good footballer and for a comparison even Bacuna has created 28 from a defensive position.
Out of his 305 passes 108 were incomplete which gives him a success rate of 62%

Every single stat shouts hes been poor let alone actually watching him on a pitch

But believe whatever you want im sure the Mainz manager is a footballing genius thats why he's managing them.

We can revisit this in the summer when he returns after being relegated and not scoring right before we release him on a free and pay his contract up.

Him going - unless there’s a very late surprise- leaves us very short up top of Moore gets injured.

He may not be very good but letting Glatzel leave so late in the window without replacing him is questionable management

Haven't you forgotten one thing? This is a forum,where opinions on pkayers differ vastly,but you must be right,after all you have managed obviously!! You use those stats,but forget,he has been a late substitute in majority of "games"he has played,just 8 actual starts this year,and 3 goals! But of course,he didnt rescue us against millwall,should really have hit a hat trick in those what,7 mins?? Warnock also bought Bogle, Madine and Vassell . His record of signing strikers isn't exactly great .
