Mainz is not far from Hoffenheim the club we bought him from. It's not worked out for the lad. Cant fault his attitude just not quite suited for the Championship. Good luck to him, hope he does well and that we can get a fee for him in the summer as no doubt he'll want to move his family back home permanently.

Mr Shed wrote:Put him up front for Brentford or Bournemouth and you'll see how good a striker he is.

Unfortunately our previous two managers and the current one won't be playing that kind of footy.

He hasn't scored many here yet, but every single one of theme is a class strike

if bournemouth , brentford or anyone else thought this they would have picked up a bargain.... and you defo need to revisit his goals... not many clean strikes amongst that lot..

Glatzel for the lad and the club needs to move.

Rhodes hit a purple patch years ago and lived off it since. Its a big no for me

I can't see Willimas as the answer either, Ok as "something different" when we are losing with 30 mins to go

I really hold no hope of Tomlin coming back either. His undoubted talent got him through some matches last season, but he hardly gets a kick in the first half when a starter.

I am surprised Junior hasn't drifted up to boro today. I can't see us offering a contract for next year and they'll be fcuk all bonuses paid by us, so six months with Warnock may get him a tidy little extra playoff incentive.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ralls or Morrison leaving on loan today ( i don't know anything) we did it with Connolly. Get a wage off and a little income....

Cardiff City striker Robert Glatzel is set to join Bundesliga club Mainz on loan for the rest of the season.

Glatzel is travelling to his homeland for a medical as the clubs look to conclude the deal ahead of the 17:00 GMT transfer deadline in Germany.

Glatzel joined Cardiff from Heidenheim in July 2019 for a fee of £5.5m.

The 27-year-old has made 51 League appearances for the Welsh club but has been restricted to just eight Championship starts this season.

Glatzel has scored three goals this term having netted eight times in his debut campaign in English football.

The form of Wales international forward Kieffer Moore, who is Cardiff's leading scorer with 10 goals, has limited Glatzel's opportunities in 2020-21.

I guess we’re looking at Rhodes as someone who can play alongside Moore? Still, way past his best. Rhodes’ goal scoring record is worse than Gratzel.

Loan | Robert Glatzel joins 1. FSV Mainz 05 -

Forward Robert Glatzel has today joined Bundesliga side 1. FSV Mainz 05 on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.
Glatzel has scored eleven goals in all competitions for the Bluebirds since joining from 1. FC Heidenheim in August 2019.

We'd like to wish Robert all the very best of luck while away from CCS.

Surely another striker coming in then with Glatzel leaving and Watters injured?
