Injury update

Are any other players an injury concern?

Mick McCarthy: "Max Watters has trained and Junior Hoilett has trained. They have all trained.

"We can add them to the numbers available."

Jonny Williams 50/50 slight injury.

Saw them v Brentford and they looked good. Could possibly cut us to shreds fairly easily on recent displays. Maybe something will click.

Bristol City are not that good and have a massive injury list and lost a few recently... however we are worse so I can only see a comfortable 2-0 win for the Wurzels. Call me negative - but I can assure you our team line up with be more negative that I am.

Of course we will win, the reasons are obvious:
After a period of relative uncertainty, the club is now firing on all cylinders, from top to bottom.
The owner has seen the light and has stopped complaining about the vast sums of money he is losing and is now fully committed to investing in order to take us to the very pinnacle of the footballing elite. He has also decided to remove the chairman and replace him with someone who knows what he/she is doing.
The club has totally changed strategy and has appointed a forward thinking young manager who plays successful, entertaining football.
The academy's is now thriving and young starlets are queueing up for a place in the first team as well as for international glory.
The playing squad, having been through a period of intense re-educ soon and training that would put China to shame, are now bristling with pure class and quality, the like of which has not been seen since Barcelona's glory days.
The (mostly) loyal and faithful fans are now treated with full respect and their views are taken into full consideration by the now inclusive and knowledgeable board.

Now that is sarcasm.

Robins ravaged

As for Bristol, they've been rocked by an injury to Chris Martin - with the striker ruled out for the rest of the season because of a hamstring problem.

He joins a lengthy list on the sidelines - with George Nurse, Cameron Pring, Tommy Rowe, Jay Dasilva, Liam Walsh, Callum O'Dowda, Marley Watkins, Nathan Baker and Andi Weimann all out injured.

Every game seems to be tough for us at the moment; one of the downsides of keeping our previous manager for far too long

However, we have nothing to fear from our biggest traditional rivals, the Wurzels, and we we can be positive in our approach; both on field and on Forum... ;)

Corner is punched clear by Bentley.

It's dinked back into the box to Flint with his back to goal. He turns and shoots but it's well over the bar.
