I thought he was on fire at the start of the season or last for charlton
Did'nt get on with the manager and played out of position on the wing like wilson then in an out tbe team
A lot on the charlton forum said they won more games when he was playing and mick had him on loan at ipswich and knows how yo get the best out of him
I will admit though he is probably a better impact player off the bench when opposition is tiring.

Charlton fans don’t sound worried if he goes most saying he won’t be missed. We need better out midfield has been holding us back for God knows how long we need quality until we do we will continue to struggle. Williams is not the man.

My feeling is that at the moment our central midfield is lacking so much in energy, aggression and mobility that our oppositions are happy playing in the middle of the pitch without the need for much urgency. Having a player like Jonny who is energetic, aggressive and mobile will, if nothing else, mix things up in our midfield and make our midfield more unpredictable.

Granted, his creativity isn’t as good as Wilson’s or Tomlin’s but I don’t think he’s being brought in for that - I predict he’s been brought in for a role somewhere between Wilson’s type of play and Vaulks type of play.

Just my opinion though

We must be one of the worst run clubs in the league when comes to planning for the future. the village club down the West seem to get it right time after time and we keep getting it wrong with managers and players we are signing. Chairman and CEO need to be moved out and get some football people in to give Tan the advise he needs. Shocking.

No argument from me either / for me the Committee is a shambles.

Our debts should of been cleared yrs ago, instead it’s more even after twice being in the Prem, receiving nearly £400mill.

We are now worse of on everything on and if the field than 11yrs ago.


And they live in London and Malaysia now running other businesses.
A CEO should be here in Cardiff.
