Anytime a manager is employed with an eye on the future they end up shite.

Well said. Even if Cardiff announce that Mick is short term if he has a good stint I guarantee his contract will be extended then come Autumn he’ll be gone.

I’m willing to give Mick a go. What a lot City fans won’t admit is that we need massive change. We have no youth system. We have no style of play.

If Micks coming in give him resource not just money for new players but money for the academy! Make him long term.

When Slade came in no one thought he’s long term.
When Trollop came in no one thought he’s long term.

Warnock worked his magic 4 years ago! People are still looking at those players in the same light. SOME of those players aren’t the same players they were 4 years ago.

Trollope was exactly seen as a long term solution.

He was literally brought in to replicate the Wales way.

Spot on Neil..what worried me is they were going down the same road with Bowen...i am happy to give McCarthy a chance to steady the ship...ship out a couple in midfield and get one or two decent midfeld players in on loan

I know we all know this but it’s not just Neil Harris fault we are where we are. The board is absolutely shocking.

What kind of club let’s a manager bring in 2 players then sacks him.

What kind of club takes a cheaper option in a manager over extra money and ambition.

We don’t own our own training facilities.

We don’t have a style of play.

We have a stale team. If it is true that the board run the squad then why haven’t they moved players out. No one has a more stale squad than us. We have 3 players that put heart and soul into every game - Moore, Mozza and Smithies.

To further prove we have have a piss poor board I bet we hire a manager to get us through the season then end up giving him a chance in July then sacking him in the autumn.

If we had ambition we’d hire a good strong manager now and give him 2 seasons. That squad is shite. If anyone disagrees then your clearly not of a football mind.

I bet managers take one look at the last 10 years and either demand big money or just laugh at us.

This season was the first season in 11 years I’ve not paid for a season ticket and thank f**k I didn’t!
