In my mind to appoint a Manager till the end of the season is the wrong thing to do. We need to bring a Manager in for the long haul why would we waste the rest of this season and not give the Manager plenty of time to asses who he wants to keep and who he wants to let go. At the same time working on recruitment. I honestly believe we won’t go down but at the same time the play offs are out of reach. New Manager no pressure time to prepare for next season. Leave it till the summer and the rest of this season would have been wasted. People talk about having a long term plan I don’t see how brining in someone short term would help.

McCarthy was manager of APOEL in Cyprus earlier in season ! Biggest club in Cyprus with most wxpensive squad - was sacked after losing FIVE of his first 8 games !
APOEL usually lose 5 games a season !!

He blotted his copybook by being really bad at Schalke last season.

If the club are to have a major rethink about the way the team play, how are the board going to find a suitable replacement in the next few days ? Surely the way forward is to find a safe pair of hands short term to give them the opportunity to at least consider other alternatives for next season.

Big difference being an assistant to the man in charge! Those stats are very deceiving

Tan was massively behind Harris until last night finally triggered him to sack him after speaking to Dalman and Choo once again.

Also apparently Tan is thinking of just bringing in a temporary manager for the rest of this season that he feels will virtually guaranty our safety and then take it from there.

The Committee have 100% not decided on anyone yet.

So is it 6 CEO'S & 11 Managers in 11 years under Tan.

Two managers in four years and only one CEO in that time. It’s not as bad as you’re making out

Name the 11 managers ?

Its 6 permanent signed managers

Dave Jones was already here so Tan had no choice
Kerslake was temporary for 6 days
Gabbidon and Young were temporary joint managers for 3 weeks

SIX managers have been signed in 11 years . So he gives managers on average nearly 2 years

Two of them got promotion
One got to the play offs
One is now managing one of the biggest clubs in the world
Two were stop gaps

Counting them like is just trying to make our owner look bad when in reality they have actually mainly chosen well and given them loads of time and chances

100% :thumbright: :thumbright:
