And when he went to Wigan, he failed miserably.
Sometimes it's just a case of a right fit with the right club and I think that was what happened with us. Would I want him back... No, we need to move forward as a club and if he returned, and it didn't work out that is what we would remember him as. Rather than what he achieved with us
He was only at Wigan 5 minutes and working under extraordinary conditions, that said returning to a club seldom works out. So I’d recommend Jim Goodwin (who’s returned to manage St Mirren)he knows how to set a team up.

And how has he not been successful in Management since like his old assistant Dyche? There’s a man who would be a perfect fit for us although apparently he is one of the highest paid in the Premier League! Malky however was a disaster at Wigan and a Scottish club and I believe he’s now in an administration job in Scotland?
Great pity as he could have been a legend at our club and our greatest ever Manager!
I have spoken to many people with in the club incl Bellamy who had spoken out.
Malky was loved by everyone and adored.
Malky was hounded by Tan and Tan destroyed him as a manager.
Malky was being told in the last months who to play etc and he refused and certainly was no yes man.
If Tan went , I would have Malky back tomorrow.
I put Malky on fb and I have had more likes and fantastic comments regarding Malky since Eddie May.

I can’t see how Tan destroyed Malky as a Manager, if any owner wanted him and thought he could do the job they wouldn’t care what Tan says?

In a game where dubious morals are often overlooked if a manager can achieve results, the fact that Malky has never been able to get a meaningful job in management since leaving us speaks volumes. He manipulated the fans on to his side, and not many of us like to admit when we have been duped, but he duped a great many of our fans into supporting him. It wasn’t a golden age for the team, and we made a much better effort at the Premier League under Warnock.
Malky is history. And that is where he is staying.

Look at Gunnarsson who was class. Was great in the premier league too. Leader like Malky.
People say about some of Malky’s bad signings but the bad signings were made by the shitty committee. When Malky had free reign he signed class and took us up.
Peter Whittingham was his best signing though.

I was a fan of Malky but I don’t know how you can praise him for all the good signings and other people for all his bad signings that came in during his time here?

Velikonja was a committee signing.
Cornelius was a committee signing.
I can’t think of any other bad signings. Maybe Kiss but he looked good on loan.

So how do you know the committee signed those players?
In fact Cornelius was the signing that Tan was most critical and vocal about and actually blamed Malky for it.
You should stop believing rumours.
Like I say I was a fan but there are plenty of signings by him that didn’t work out.
The complete flops that spring to mind were Odemwingie, Brayford

I remember going into our prem season worrying we’d lose Malky to Everton (in fact I lobbed a fair amount on at the bookies to offset any disappointment - but I was delighted he stayed). Now, VT - go get Bellamy!

Imagine if Malky had the same amount of money Warnock had?

Tbf VT came good with the cash for both of them
when he knew they were the real deal. As I say, I won’t speculate re MM and VTs fallout. let’s say I think VT was naive but that hopefully he’s learnt from both his under par and great decisions
