Just mad even by our standards

We have looked shakey at the back for the majority of the season and have conceded some soft goals from poor defending. Before the Wycombe game we conceded 9 goals in 4 games and lost 3 of those games. Harris also said the team was tired. If that wasn't a reason to change things/rest players I dont think Harris will ever be capable of rotating the squad unless he is forced by injuries. Benkovic should have been given a few games even if it just meant shifting Nelson to RB so we could put bacuna back in the middle. But Harris didn't play him and now we have 1 fit CB. With 1 injured CB who the majority of fans wanted out of the club and 1 unfit 35 year CB who has struggled since his injury, as cover. And we've lost a young and talented ball playing CB because of poor management. That's why people are annoyed.
The first goal, against Wycombe, was poor defending by him but with very little game time he was always going to be rusty. A lot of fans moan about our hoofball tactics and we've had a CB who is very good on the ball sat on the bench all season. We've missed out here.

We've looked shakey at Left Back, Right Back and Defensive/holding midfield, not at Centre Back. the only goal of those 9 that had anything to do with our centre pairing was the own goal that nothing could be done about. If he'd have let it go the oncoming attacker was in position to tap it in. The only way you couldve squeezed Bencovic into the rotation is your suggestion above, but how much better at RB do you think Nelson is compared to Bacuna? is it worth risking the stability and understanding of the centre pair?
Benkovic is a young professional football player who is paid a decent wage to play football, and if he's not playing he should be mentally and physically fit to show his ability as soon as the opportunity presents itself. Like Bagan did in his first outing, like Harris did in his first game. How much competitive football did those guys get before they played? Benkovic had played the full 90 in a reserve game the week before and has been a part of this squad for months.
It will go down as an opportunity missed, hopefully he will do better when the next one arises, but for now I will wish him luck but definitely won't miss him.

We are 15th in the league because weve been poor defensively. There's a difference between being fit and match fit and under 23s games don't even come close to a championship game. Its the reason players are sent out on loan to lower leagues. Bacuna has done a job at RB but regularly shows he is not a natural defender and he is a massive loss not being in our midfield. Nelson is a defender and has slotted in at RB before so i can't see that it would significantly make us worse at RB. Bagan at LB (never should have been dropped) looked very nervous in his first game and a lot of people on here blamed him for the goal we conceded. Him and Harris upfront are more forgiving positions than coming in at CB as well. Like you say, benkovic had been at the club for months so surely him and morrison trained together and formed some sort of understanding? We'll never know if it would have worked out because it was never given the chance, despite our poor season and tired starting 11.
We've also got 1 CB for at least two games. One against top of the league as well. So he will be missed.

He was caught flat footed and wasn't up to speed with the pace of the game. Match sharpness only comes with game time. What's the excuse with the mistakes morrison and Nelson have made this season? That's with a lot game time playing together. Subs often make mistakes when they come on because they aren't up to speed with the game. And Like I said, CB is a less forgiving position.
You've critised Harris from the start of the season for pretty much everything. We haven't been great at the back this season and Benkovic wasnt given a chance, both facts. And thats down to Harris.
With Flint back and injured I doubt we'll see another CB come in. But Let's see how many people criticise morrison and Flint if they ever have to play together this season.

Just because he's not good enough to play for a top prem team doesn't mean he's not good enough to play for a championship club that you are worried might be fighting relegation this season.
My mate is a Bristol City ST holder and was impressed with him last season. The reason he only played 10 games was because he was unlucky with injuries.

Benkovic finally got his chance against Wycombe and showed us why he hadnt been picked.
Why cry about it?
So he will be missed.
where he was poor had very little to do with fit or match fit... Harris has made enough mistakes for people to be critical of without throwing more in....good luck to him against ross or inverness..ive got my fingers crossed we have some one better lined up...
And thats down to Harris.

im not worried as such at this point, but yes relegation is certainly not out of the question ,January will be a big month.... and ..correct not being good enough for leicesters squad means exactly what it says... thats not what BR was getting at or said though..or was match fitness ..people made a lot of noise ,thread after thread, and then when he does get a game its clear why he was not being picked... but instead of just looking , seeing and accepting we have people making excuses because its impossible for them to have been wrong..... ffs we send people out on loan all the time in the hope something clicks..and they have no match fitness either or do injured players coming back or do players at the start of the season.... thats not what was evident against Wycombe..as for bristol ...it was your mate...i knew id read it somewhere... 6 starts..3 of which were dead rubbers at the end of the season...and a lot of on the bench but unused.... not sure why people want to big him up other than it to be another stick to beat NH with....

So a player, who has played very little competative football, makes a mistake and its because he's simply not good enough as a player? Have a day off. What's your excuse for the mistakes morrison and Nelson have made this season then? By that logic they are not good enough for this league either? They've played far more football than benkovic as well. If not playing regular football has no bearing on player performance, why does every team have a preseason and risk injuries before the season starts? Its preparation for the real thing. Benkovic wouldn't have got that match sharpness in training or the u23s. Mistakes by subs happens all the time. It was just unfortunate his led to a goal.
Doesn't matter how important the games were. If a player is decent it will show. My mate seen him play multiple times and said he was decent and would have liked him back this season. Its got nothing to do with being right or wrong. He wasn't given a decent run of games to show if he was capable or not. 60 odd minutes here doesn't prove anything.
You've beat Harris with every stick possible this season. That's like nuclear telling people not to criticise BLM

Don't go throwing Wilson and Moore at me, as good as they can be, people at the club seem to think individual one off players can make a massive difference.
We buy at over inflated prices, we buy injury prone players, we buy with our fingers crossed, and then we buy and don't play the player.
Something is going on at the club and I don't like it.
Harris summer signings at little cost to the club have all done well Moore,Wilson,Ojo,Tutu and Phillips. The only failure has been Benkovic and you could see why he wasn’t being picked at Wycombe? When you compare his signings to Warnock’s big money failures,Harris has done well.Perhaps we should make him the Director of Football and bring in a coach like Bellamy to kick our players arses!
That little cost to the club is around 5 to 7 million for the year. Its hardly little cost.

How do you work that out,Harris got rid of Jazz,Connelly,Ward,Bogle,Paterson,Etheridge,Flint,Brown,Sang etc so our outgoings must have been less than or incomings?
