Luzern - Switzerland
Atlanta - US
Sentosa - Singapore
La Gomera- Canary Islands
La Gomera I hired a car for four days, took it back after less than four hours

Yeah not the biggest place in the world. I just think its mad how it has a completely different feel, climate, and wildlife to tenerife but is closer than the Isle of White is to Southampton.
Enjoyed my trip to La Gomera Friends of mine started there Across the Atlantic row from there
There was a cross Atlantic race leaving when we were there but the weather was so bad it was delayed.

Beautiful Spanish city with tapas bars to die for.

Some of the Greek islands are just idyllic. Symi is probably my favourite.
Further afield I'd have to say the Masai Mara.

Did you get to see the Northern lights? Would love to see a really good show one day but there's no guarantees.

Jock ,food was good. They like meat dishes so if that's your thing you'd love it. They've got a wild boar dish that's really tasty. Even do a type of black pudding dish. My Mrs likes sea food and she was impressed with the quality.
It's 5 years since I was there and stayed in an apartment that was cheap and good standard. Plenty hotels to choose from if you'd prefer that. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Sounds like a hell of a trip. Nashville and Memphis both on my wish list just because of their links to music

Cheers for that, I looked at Sardinia and Corsica a couple of years ago but flights proved difficult, I’ll definitely give Corsica a go, for the wild boar if nothing else, wild bacon got to love it
