Cardiff City are facing something of an injury crisis, with Sean Morrison, Sol Bamba and Aden Flint all unavailable.
Fillip Benkovic was also recalled by Leicester City this week, meaning that one of Joe Bennett, Greg Cunningham or even Will Vaulks could partner Curtis Nelson up at the heart of the defence.
Right-back Jordan Osei-Tutu is nearing a return from a hamstring issue, but is currently self-isolating under Covid-19 rules.
Meanwhile, Kieffer Moore is set to be assessed towards the end of next week, while long-term absentees Lee Tomlin and Isaac Vassell remain out.
FOREST:
As for the hosts, Forest midfielders Jack Colback (ankle) and Luke Freeman (hernia) remain out, but defender Scott McKenna could make a comeback from an ankle injury
Winger Anthony Knockaert has returned to parent club Fulham.

Cardiff City manager Neil Harris:
"I WILL BE PICKING A TEAM TO WIN THIS GAME."
"I love the competition, but it’s not the same as it was in previous years. I’ve got a great affiliation with the competition, but it’s not the same without the fans. You take the fans out, you take away a chunk out of the FA Cup.
"I’ll be picking a team accordingly to win the game. It’s important for players to put in a good performance. Results tend to follow off that.
"We’re ready to go and we’re chomping to play. We want to get back to winning ways as soon as possible."

I want to win but if a few loses gets rid of Harris, so be it.

ball watching again!

Yet again standing off, no tackle and losing within 10 minutes. Pathetic but predictable

Bye bye Harris

Do we actually watch videos of our mistakes, learn from them, develop a plan to stop them, and then train between games to physically work on stopping them. We seem to let goal after goal in from just backing off every game.

Seems like deejavu every game

Better from Cardiff. Vaulks drives through the middle of the pitch and slides through WIlson in the box, but a good challenge from McKenna sees the ball out for a corner.

Nice finish. But where is the pressure on the wing? No one in this team wants to tackle.

Yup. As said above. Do they do any coaching? Must be 9 out of the last 10 conceded have involved us backing off. And we continue to do it!!!

A stoppage in play as Arter receives treatment following a crunching challenge from Marlon Pack.
Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:18 pm
Arter hurt, oh dear how sad, never mind.
Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:18 pm
Glatzel tries his luck from 30 yards and is miles away.
But it's better from Cardiff, who are enjoying a little more possession.

Annis no. 33 forest black guy did not take the knee
Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:26 pm
Barring that early goal, there has been a real lack of quality from both sides at the business ends of the pitch.
Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:29 pm
Nelson losing his man again , he's miles off and the guy just stopped in the box whilst Nelson kept running. Pathetic defending all round
Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:31 pm
Murphy is found in the box but takes too much time to get a cross in and the deflected pass falls to Bagan, but he can't get his header back into the danger area.
Another attack comes thanks to Glatzel, before Bacuna finds Ralls at the endge of the box, but the midfielder drags his shot wide.
Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:32 pm
Glatzel feeds Bacuna down the right and he fires in a lovely ball into the box, but no City player is there to meet it.
Good from Cardiff, this.
Sat Jan 09, 2021 12:33 pm
Close! Harry Wilson does excellently to intercept an errant header from Lolley and smacks a volley from 35 yards, but it just fades wide.
