I'm also delighted for Lewis Hamilton and whatever your views on his position on things like Black Lives Matters you simply cannot take away the fact that he has proved himself to be the best driver of all time in his chosen sport of F1.

Hes normally drove the fastest car, which helps in a car race. In the last race a total rookie took Hamilton's place (george Russell?) and was miles clear and would've won if he hadn't had a puncture.

He hasn't always had the best car and the fact is 20 of his GP wins were in a car that was no better than 3rd/4th on the grid. That caught the eye of Mercedes who took him to their team, Why? Because they wanted the best driver around in their car. George Russell did a fantastic job when he replace LH in the race the other week and he does look to have a great future and I look forward to watching another British driver in the years ahead.

Good driver no doubt but the wheels under your arse make a massive difference to where you finish. For instance Tennis players all use similar equipment, as do golfers, snooker players, footballers etc, very little advantage to be gained, boxers use the similar gloves. Formula one is dependent on the equipment rather than the human so for me I'll give my admiration but wont tank Hamilton and the other drivers as high as other sports. Just my personal opinion.
