I think all gestures should stop. That includes taking the knee and all the army nonsense.
If people just want to watch football then let's just keep it that way and not pick and choose.

I think Aherne is referring to when we have the Army marching onto the pitch. That will never stop as the services have always been supported by the football community regardless of who we have in power and rightly so as far as I am concerned.

BLM were not fighting against racism though.. anyone that really gave 2 hoots about racism would have stopped supporting BLM and the kneeling the minute it became obvious it was divisive.. was just another thing to tack on to left wing beliefs with a bit of faux concern chucked in... football...will move back to an inclusive anti racism message and leave the nut jobs to move on to their next mostly peaceful campaign / protest / riot ..

All well and good clubs taking action on the scale of "protest" there has been but what would happen if its 20,000 people? Do they all face a ban?

TBH I dont let things that I have no control over bother me in the slightest. I choose to turn over when they take a knee and then turn back on.

All for anti racism but not having it shoved down my throat every game, as far as I am aware its only the UK they do it but may be wrong.

Yeah would I do this protest outside ? To damn right I would it needs to stop.
But what about the virus most will say breaking restrictions etc ? Well this is where the bullshit of the virus all comes out. All those players staff etc they say it’s safe for the players to carry on But it’s not safe to protest outside. But if it’s a BLM matter demo tearing down statues and defacing Winston Churchill’s monument then that is classed as safe.
If it was a real pandemic they would of killed us all by now.
But yes they need to know we are angry but putting anything on social media of plans to hit the CCS is a big own goal. Needs to be set up without putting it on here.

Well if a booing protest is planned for the ccs then you can be assured lots of people will be opposing that . It will show cardiff city in a very bad light and you may think you speak for the silent majority but I can assure you that is not the case . I believe that taking the knee has run its course and I am certain we need to move on but booing it will send out signals that we are like the jacks or Millwall and we have never ever had that problem . So go ahead and organise a mass boo but be careful as people will be there to oppose you if you go ahead with it . My view is when we get back to football then its best to turn your back on the players taking the knee as booing will draw attention to yourselves and will lead to violence and confrontation . I wonder if the absence of spectators has seen this posturing go on longer than it normally would ? As someone posted above, I turn the TV to another channel while 22 players and officials get on their bended knee and raise their arm in the air - it's stupid, serves no purpose, but then again we are talking about some of the dullest people in our society [professional footballers]. Hypothetical I know, but if we were attending home games as normal and I was forced to witness that every home game for my £££, I think I'd give it a miss. I go to watch football, not get a subliminal lesson in the evils of racism..
