But I have to disagree with some comments. Mehmet Dalman was previously on the board at Man Utd wasnt he?

I do think that if we want to be a Premier League club, and one that stays there, we should get a decent manager give im money - so that we can buy players cheaper than they would normally be - and look to secure a side staying in the Premier League for a few seasons (like Bournemouth and Burnley)

And for those who have no idea as to how big our club is - Cardiff is a much bigger club than both Bournemouth and Burnley

Okay I'll bite. How big is this BIG that you're talking about and what definition are you using?

Yes we probably are/could be bigger that the 2 teams you mention but some act like we are as big as Liverpool, Man utd & city etc. For me we would need to be in the premier league for more than 1 season to see how big we are/could be.

I dont think anybody has ever said we are as big as them. Managers we are after would be on a totally different level and they wouldn't get top 6 jobs.

Managers like Mark Hughes, Eddie Howe , Sam Allardyce and Slaven Bilic are well within our range as a club.

Not a great deal of difference between the top 8 of the championship and Bottom 8 of the premier league regarding size of clubs . Those clubs have a certain standard of manager they can attract and we are one of them if we wanted to be.

Dalman looking at Charlton last season says it all for me, if his eye is on buying another club then his 100% is not on us, when it was all rosy we seen him and Choo on tv, radio and now nothing. We could give Harris 200 million and he would still do exactly same, we play no different to how Millwall played.

We are a big club in Wales, small club in the UK. That will never change.

Harris In/Out.....No idea to be honest. :bluebird:

I voted stick and i have always thought he is crap.

We need to make the decision for the summer now. He needs to go after the last game and then announce his replacement. Not start looking for his replacement after the last game.

IMO the structure needs to change. We are using the same, Chairman, club secretary, manager as we did 100 years ago.

The owner is far more important than they used to be, especially when we owe him so much money. The bloke lives the other side of the world and has many other interests, but his opinion is the only one that counts. He needs to employ a person to run the football side of the club and report back to him directly, someone he trusts implicitly and importantly the fans.

The Dof or general manager (in USA sports) recruits all footballing staff including the head coach. If the head coach suits our needs we employ him, if not then we don't.
Old school manager want too much control and when they leave the squads are imbalanced and very much in their own image. There were many questions over Malkys, Ole's and Warnocks agents and transfer fee's who was used and who got what. We need one team looking at recruitment headed by the DoF.

Head coaches are dispensable, many clubs prove that year on year. When managers go its hurts the club as they wield too much power.

Somebody like Danny Gabbidon would be my choice, then go and find someone in Europe to be the first team/head coach

Its a tricky one but I reckon we need a more experienced street wise type of manager Harris seems a bit puzzled by the whole thing somehow, games seem to pass him by .A Warnock type of guy but with a more free flowing football philosophy is needed.

I dont think Dalman was ever the man u board...he was the investment Banker who enured they took over. His is not afootball background...neither is Choo ....Dalman has been here 7 years and Choo 6 years , neither are football men and Tan now does things from afar
Both Dalman and Choo are experienced money men Business men and not Football men ..just being here for 6 or 7 years doen t make you experienced football men.
We need an experienced football man on the board with some influence , someone whose background is football

Dalman, never been on their board, but he has a box at Man United and is a big fan. He was def leaving us last year for Charleton, but it fell through.

Dalman and Choo run their businesses in London and live their full time now.
