Truly disappointing comments from the manager! There’s one thing being realistic and then there’s making stupid comments about clubs being relegated from the top flight. Unless it’s escaped his knowledge, that comment could be made about many in the Championship, but it shouldn’t be said!!

I don’t care what ‘size’ a club is. What matters is the standard of football and the results. The past is irrelevant in my view. It’s like saying “my Dad’s bigger than your Dad”. What? Fatter? It’s a pathetic stance to take. The results and the style of football are what we should be bragging about.

In a game where you score 2 goals and still lose, questions have to be asked about attitude and attention to defence. A lot of that comes from the manager.

I think his point is that normally teams come down and lose their best players.

Hasn’t happened this year due to the pandemic.

Norwich kept their best players. And that’s the only team he said we can’t compete with.

This was always going to be a tough run of games , fortunately we won 4 in a row before this sequence of games so am I surprised we lost to Brentford and Norwich....No!

But regarding not being able to compete with them !! No way ! Sorry but we were in Premier 2018/19 and had parachute payments before that and after so we should be competing with these teams .
The issue has been not utilising those seasons to build the club up off and on the field, putting in place a club ethos on how we want to play, the type of coach, manager , player who fit that style.!!

If we are able to start attending games later in 2021 , I worry about how many season tickets will get purchased based on the football product currently being served up and people who have lost their connection to the club during Coronavirus by not being able to attend games!

Next season there are no parachute payments , so no Wilson,etc more players will be sold to reduce wage bill.....it’s not looking good

He was happy with the squad....then we don’t have enough depth ..as an example.
He’s always trying diverting attention away from any scrutiny of his poor selections or subs .

We’d never appoint a Manager like that.. he’s not brainless enough to impress the board.
