Can't comment on the tuning aspect of what you have but it seems some (Big Hill Blue and one or two others clearly excepted) will regardless of lack of knowledge in the subject area; now there's a first on here, eh?![]()

Without an outdoor aerial you will struggle to pick up a large selection of channels no matter what tv you have.
That’s what we’ve been thinking mate. Gonna get an aerial for the outside in a few weeks, get a TV set up ready and get the tv aerial bloke to tune the bloody thing in for us
If you haven’t got an aerial that’s the problem surely ? How else will you pick up a signal or am I missing something?
Yes I have an aerial. Got a ‘one for all’ aerial and plugged it in bank of tv. I’ve since learned that for where I live, I need one in attic / on side of house to pick up any channels as with the small one it only picked up around 6 types of bbc channel and the reception was awful.
Anyway, all returned now. Aerial installation booked for after Xmas

Wayne S wrote:Indoor aerials are shit with digital TV's. Unlike old analogue, where you may get a snowy pic with a weak signal, with digital it's either there or not.
If you get NO channels something else is usually the problem but if you you only get BBC then you know it's an aerial issue. (The BBC's are on the strongest signals)
These amplified indoor aerials are a waste of money. I got away with an aerial in my attic if that is easier to fit.
