Neil well done, as usual changes the topic

Malky delivered first season with no money Cup Final and play offs, with money Champions :thumbright: :bluescarf:

DJ had money beyond to give the highest wages in the Championship a fact.

6 years what did he win?

DJ disliked by fans from every club he has managed in fact hated.

Hardly changed the subject. You mentioned Bellamy. I referred to that in context replying to your post.

Or are you going to tell me to find another forum again because I wrote something you don’t like.

I preferred DJ to Malky. If DJ had the sort of money Malky had he would have taken us up and kept us there.

Yes Malky took us to the carling cup final and play offs. Majority of the team were DJ signings alongside some very good Malky signings (Gunnarrson being one of my favourites of the last ten years). On large wages. Also in the side was Kenny Miller. 900k signing. Malky had no money?

Malky started with 10 players and the facts are which ever way you try to play it, success was achieved :thumbright: :thumbright:

The first season Malky had peanuts.

As to what went on behind the scenes, as I saw it first hand with DJ under the Riddler, I know how bad DJ's attitude was.
Also I can tell you now some facts in them days DJ was paying £20,000 and £25,000 a week wages and got what ever players he asked for.
DJ was lazy, terrible attitude, money beyond for new players wages, had far to control of the club, was hardly ever there for training sessions and No control of his players and disliked our fans.
I saw all the above first hand and 7 different players I knew well said it direct to me as well.

DJ, what did he win after 6 years please answer?

Yes DJ was loved by Jay and Chops, as they were both his favourite players

I was in the dressing room before a match v Doncaster, Jay had head phones on and totally ignored DJ's speech and was dancing around with no care in the world.
DJ told him to listen but gave up.

Those two players did what ever they want.
Chops would travel night before a game to the North East and gamble till 2am.

What did DJ win after 6 yrs in charge, please answer?

It was answered earlier far better than I could. He signed Miller 900k, Turner 650k, mason 300k, kiss (loan fee) and lots of players free transfers on good wages. Good signings but hardly no money. Plus the best players from DJ remained.

We all know Riddler always tells the truth.

Still. Hardly peanuts.

When was the last money signing DJ made? Please answer!!!

Actually I will. It was Jon Parkin the year before.
The only money he got to spend that season.

He managed us when we were on our arse financially. Constantly had to sell best players.

How many players did he have to sell? Please answer!!

Players on £20,000 & £25,000 a week.

Hated by most clubs fans that he managed.

Numerous championship play off appearances.
An FA Cup final that raised our profile significantly.

He left us far better than when he took us over. He significantly improved lots of players and also made us a lot of money selling those players. This kept us afloat.

Had he had the money Malky had and not had to sell players he would have taken us up. Of that I have no doubt. He built a side that should have gone up anyway.

I was gonna do a post showing the players he signed/sold in comparison to others and where we were when he took us over. However you will probably just delete it as you did with the post about Jay’s interview praising him.

Managers are always hated by fans.

A lot on here despise Malky. What does that prove?

MALKY CHAMPIONS / PROMOTION END OFF :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I did answer but it has disappeared like the post about you and Always City being the same.

He didn’t win anything. Took us to the FA Cup Final though raising the profile of the club significantly.

When he had similar resources to Malky (Malky’s first season) he finished higher than Malky did (4th to 6th). Then malky had bucket loads to spend and won the championship with the lowest points total in some time and only 7 points better than DJ’s best performance. £2 million for every point is great value.

Annis, I categorically do not have any other accounts.

I am not losing this debate at all.

Jimmy Scholar won f**k all. .After all we had Toshack.Clark.Warboys .Barrie Jones etc .No success probably the players weren't fit.

Jones got us the to play off final under a back drop of the club being broke and the ridder looking for money so we could complete the season. I remember one season we were competing with WBA for promotion. in the January window WBA invested in their squad we didn't,WBA went up. ..For a player who wasn't fit Chopra ran his guts out in the play-off final. We had some good players in the Jones era but we had some average ones as well.

Since Jones left the academy has been unfit for purpose. Compare that to the likes of ledley,Collins .Gunter. Ramsey coming through the ranks.

Didn't the Riddler sell Ramsey for peanuts?

Since I’ve supported the City our cup has always been half full.

how well did you know him ?

I met Dave Jones golfing partner. if Dave jones was a fraction of this man then that still makes him a tw*t.

Fair play Annis you always told it how you saw it with Jones and gave true facts. Jones Clearly didn’t have the passion or respect for our club which you said all along.

If I remember right you had a word with him at Burnley away didn’t you? I saw it from our coach outside turf moor! Great stuff!

Watch out if you agree with me, I will be called you

Jones had NO Respect for our club and his attitude was disgusting.

Laziness was beyond, never even walked to a training session, went in a buggy when he actually did turn up, had his car taken to a petrol station and filled up, all his shopping was done by our club.

Never disciplined players and even told 3 players I know, you play for me not the fans.

Yes I did away at Burnley told him what I thought to his face.

Sheff Wednesday fans and Hartlepool fans all hayed his attitude.

I met him many times and was there at training sessions in the dressing rooms, so yes I saw how a tw*t he really was, in fact I fact he was pig ignorant to many.

Scoular had no choice but to sell Toshack the board made that decision. I went to almost all the games that season as a kid and the difference after JT was marked.
