hanging around waiting to see if Giggs gets pushed out - he has already stated he would come back on a radio interview.
How about Kenny Jacket, ex Wales footballer and was loved by the Wolves fans when he was there.

A few 'obvious' names thrown in there; few of which 'inspire' me other than one...
And let me point out there are
NO outstanding 'bullying' accusations against my personal choice, Craig Bellamy, so no 'issue' with him coming here on that front

got a feeling that they will not sack Harris....
There will be action soon and an announcement.

However bad Harris has been the players are still partly responsible for our piss poor season so far.I believe we got enough talent in this squad to still make the play offs.
We need someone to keep these players in check.
Craig Bellamy is the man for me.

If he was in charge last nite we would have had that disallowed goal overturned

Lets be realistic.
Whoever does get the position will have to cope with a small squad, no budget and a club whose confidence and performances are on a downward spiral.
Not an attractive option.
These so called "Big names" I would imagine wouldn't want a job that would potentially damage their reputation if their tenure doesn't go to plan.
The person who gets the job will be a "yes man" and someone who in my opinion would count themselves lucky to get a club like Cardiff. Therefore a lower league or inexperienced manager making the so called jump up to a bigger club. How else are we going to attract?

I think Nathan Jones would be a good match. The players we have I think he could get them to click more than our current manager 100%.

Not sure we agree on everything, but 100% agree. We'll get excited, then be underwhelmed, and yes, I can see it being Cook.

Has been great for Luton but was terrible for Stoke. Can't see him managing any club in the championship other than Luton after his disasterous

poll at Stoke.

I think it's probably to late to turn us into promotion material this season so I'd like to see us give someone like Freddie Ljungberg given a go, shouldn't cost us a fortune and his links with Arsenal and his profile should attract players that may choose to go elsewhere given someone in the Harris mould in charge here
Thu Nov 26, 2020 10:45 am
Bellamy or Coleman for me. We need someone who’s going to spark some fight and confidence into the players.

Spot on , the players need to stand up and be counted , their performances on the whole have been disgraceful.
Their body language when we score says it all.
A divided and dysfunctional group.
Somebody needed as manger to sort this lot out, NH , its too big for him..
Bellamy and Bamba please.

I want Eddie Howe.
But my money is on Flynn

sorry i dont agree...our players have been hamstrung ....they all have their attributes but playing this possession in a danger area is not one of them. yet last night here we go again.. a goal gifted from nothing and a goal down..

Bamba will probably take charge until a new manager is found but since he done a great job for Huddersfield i would say David Wagner. I know its a long shot but why not.

Eddie Newton

I remember we were cruising with the game in the bag, can't remember who against, a few minutes left. And yet Bellamy was waving his arms yelling at team mates and still chasing down lost causes, still getting in defenders faces. Still giving and expecting from his team mates 110%.
He has a passion for the club, his hometown, his country, homegrown talent and the academy. He knows the fans, what we are like and what we want to watch.
He would have learned a hell of a lot at Anderlecht.
I am sick to the back teeth of the hoofball, pass sideways, defending deep, zero midfield creativeness, out passed, lets wake up and start playing to chase the game with ten minutes to go mentality, that was there before Warnock enhanced it.
Will be difficult to fix and change but what have we got to lose? Fulham gave Parker a chance, even if its until seasons end its Craig Bellamy for me.

Pearson won’t be employed - he has too much baggage from outside football and has already been sacked by one Far Eastrrn owner. Good coach but toxic.
Bellamy won’t be employed because of the bullying accusations and his long history of getting in to trouble. Evrn though those accusations were unproven. His inability to hold a playing job down for more than a season or two doesn’t help.
Which leaves us with Eddie Howe, who probably is waiting for a Premier League job, Mike Flynn who has no experience at this level ( but could work out) or Sol Bamba for his first job ever.
All in all, let’s keep Harris for a while.
Thu Nov 26, 2020 5:55 pm
The only realistic option I would welcome is Paul Cook.
He's a no nonsense, honest, heart on his sleeve type of guy who had the b0ll0cks to get into Guardiola's face when Wigan knocked Man City out of the cup.
Also, the way he got his Wigan team to finish last season with an incredible run of wins showed his leadership and man management qualities, getting his team to fight against adversity to perform.
Thu Nov 26, 2020 6:05 pm
Manager Mark Hughes
Assitant Craig Bellamy
Thu Nov 26, 2020 6:19 pm
Eddie Howe,if we want to push the boat out, slavisa jocanovic the foreign option, nigel Pearson experienced manager, Paul cook cheaper option , Cameron toshack, son of tosh over to you MR DALMAN
Thu Nov 26, 2020 6:28 pm
The absence of revenue for the foreseeable must be a factor in deciding who/if a new manager comes in.
Thu Nov 26, 2020 6:29 pm
I think Cameron Toshack could be a good shout, taking my limited expectations into account. In reality though, continuing with Harris may be the best we can hope for.

Eddie Howe wouldn't come, all the other mentioned are no better than Harris?
He's been a bit unlucky, I would get him a steady organiser to assist him on a temporary basis until a decent Manager gets the sack, it won't be long and there will be a glut of them better than all the deadwood mentioned so far.

The best in the Championship have been Warnock, and Hughton, too late for him, and Chris Wilder did a good job and he might get the boot soon, someone like him!

As devoted fans are we blinkered in our views on our club?
We assume a prospective manager would jump at the chance to come to us.
Assuming the board could attract any manager, would he come here?
Perhaps we are not an attractive option.
I know we've been to the top tier twice recently but realistically would someone like Eddie Howe be tempted to accept the challenge?
