The Welsh Government is awaiting more detail before making its own decision and say they will see what happens in matches in England first.

Who would want Boris job at the moment.
Interesting that the Prime minister does what a lot of people have asked for and let's a small number of fans in grounds but is still branded a clown
Other countries allow fans and there ministers are branded brilliant leaders
During the first lockdown we allowed small excersize whilst others locked citizens up like animals and our government were wrong and stupid. Now these other countries even with very high numbers of covid are allowing excersize and they are brilliant leaders
We opened pubs and restaurants early which was a stupid idea until others did it and then it was correct
We leave airports open for essential travel through lockdown but they are slaughtered for it until every other country followed suit because it suited them financially and then its ok.
Our government gives the best financial support in the world to its citizens and they are branded irresponsible
Our government messed up on PPE by not having enough stock at first , spent a fortune at the drop of a hat to procure enough and are slagged off because mistakes were made with certain companies but the same happened all over the world
This government can't win whatever they do and Boris may have made mistakes and be a bit of buffoon but the reality is he and every other leader in the world are struggling with this and its all trial and error.
Nobody knows how best to deal with it. All of them have got bits right and all of them have got bits wrong. I wouldnt want his job at the moment hes hard probably the hardest first two years of any prime minister in History

Whilst I am pleased that fans are allowed back in small numbers (a common sense decision) this will have huge ramifications for fairness. If City and other teams in tier 3 don't have a home crowd but other clubs are allowed vocal backing is this an unfair advantage?

Yes

Thats what he always says and does? Ffs why cant he just say as long as civid is under some sort of control we will follow England ? Obviously we are not going to reduce it enough to be 100% safe if do this but scientific evidence says its safer outside than in so no reason not to do it ? He bangs on enough about listening to the evidence well listen for once!

If people simply listen then we wouldn't be in a mess. People slag off a nanny state yet many show no remorse at killing one. Look in the mirror everyone.
Follow the fu .. rules. Inquest after!!

Hope season tickets holders won’t be forced into returning to the games if they don’t want to.
I personally wouldn’t go back to games until I have had the vaccine ,it’s not so much sitting in the ground but underneath the stands and toilets.

A lot of smaller clubs may not be able to afford to open the ground for a small number of fans.
Theyll get no income from walk-up, little or no income from catering, yet will still have to employ stewards in each part of the ground they open.

Well there's been an upsurge in Pembrokeshire and Cardigan .Thirteen Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire schools have closed.
DrakeFord was ahead of the curve not behind.
Anybody listeni to Johnson talking about the tier system much wonder what the f**k is he on about
Why only couple of schools? I was in ceridigion namely aberystwyth today and schools open there but it as high incidents of covid..... and I live in north pembs where there is no covid worth mentioning so why are they closing schools here but not in south pembs where there is covid spike if call 5 or so a spike..... i simply don't believe what WG says because I live here and local gossip knows more than drakeford that's for sure when comes to covid.

PS looked into story and this is why schools are closing?
Ceredigion council said it has become "increasingly concerned" about the spread of the virus in the area....Council leader Ellen ap Gwynn blamed "super-spreader events" such as "parties" and "pub crawls". Now you know what kids get upto in school?

F##k Dripford. Let's get a socially distanced protest down at the CCS. About time we made a stand against his buffoonery. I can just hear his smarmy, slimy voice ... 'we in Whales are going to wait to see what appens in Inglund before we make any decision about ANYTHING ...'

What about fans of English teams who also wont be able to have fans- can they travel down to join your protest?

For me if Boris put his foot down, he is suppose to be the Pm of the UK, so he should be running the UK, but instead he is a pure baffoon /clown and idiot and cant run anything.
Everything that's wrong with (so called) 'Devolution' and trying to placate a small minority in each region
The lunatics have taken over the Asylum and those with any remaining sanity now have the firkhams, as they can see this is a political game rather than what is best for the UK as a whole

So it’s 4,000 max but if your capacity is low then the amount of fans will be less that are allowed in.

It seems that everybody on here are experts on how to deal with Covid 19. it would seem that Boris is a baffoon, Drakeford is a drip, Trump is a tosser and Macron is a moron. Everywhere in the world leaders are trying to manage the most difficult situation the world has experienced since WW2, this problem as we have heard it said on many occasions is without president, so there is no know methodology known to deal with the crisis.
There are a lot of people on here saying whatever the government does is wrong whether is in Cardiff or Westminister. I think in the grand scale of things Welsh Government have done no worse that any one else and in some cases done rather better than the rest of the UK.
I do think that the time is right for fan to return to stadiums in a lower numbers in a safe manner, lessons have been learned over the last 10 months which should allow us to return, I think it will help to give hope to society that we can get some normality back to our lives.

To be fair, I seem to recall that earlier in the year Drakeford did say they would follow the UK lead on sporting events and Welsh clubs/teams would not be put at an unfair disadvantage.
Let's see what happens on this one.

i doubt that will be the case looking at the numbers they are talking about... no doubt it will be ST holders having first choice but from a financial point of view clubs would be better off selling 4k tickets to non ST holders where 25 quid actually means 25 quid...

Unfortunately the two week lockdown in Wales did not work. Infection rates are now going up again up 5% in last week .
Death rate in wales is now the highest in the uk
Wales 102.4 per 100,000
England 101.5
Scotland 94
NI 64.4
Dippy Drakeford fails Wales again

Either way i cant wait
What happened your guarantee of when fans would be back Sam?
