I feel more progress could have been made as a club with the experience and finances that two Premier League campaigns brought.

I said previously why wait as unfortunately Harris won’t last long so why delay and have a nothing season. Get rid of Harris and let’s move on. With the players we have we should be in the playoffs.

Lacked creativity? Had at least 6 decent chances to score plus other opportunities to create goals and that's been case in last 3 games... as for being in top 6 dont suppose reading thought they'd been early leaders! Yes we should be higher in league but football is not predictable especially in championship as we all know.

We simply cannot pass, let alone pass and move.
I said I'd reserve judgement until tonight's game. We are a poor non footballing outfit, who cannot get basics right.
The club, from top brass to the players on the pitch are ripping the enjoyment out of every game.

You’re wrong. It wasn’t long ball until the last dregs of the game. There was plenty of passing and crossing from out wide. They try to play football but the problem is we don’t have a McPhail/Tomlin to thread balls through but even if we did we haven’t got a Chopra or even a Ward to finish. 8/9 times out of 10 City would have won that game; it just wasn’t going to happen.
I saw enough last night to be optimistic we’ll win enough but not a top 6 finish as one we make too many costly errors in our box, two we haven’t got a proper goal scorer and three Tomlin won’t always be on the pitch.

How many saves did their keeper have to make? Can’t think of one tbh . 7 home wins out of the last 24 is relegation form!!!!

Then Harris needs to go as that is his mandate from his paymasters.

Several but thats not the point creating chances mean chances to score and we had enough last night to have scored 3 or more (and that is not my opinion) but wayward shooting or like Wilson heading strait at keeper cost us ... home form not great but there again away form best in championship over the 24 games you mention so you cannot put home form as relegation form when away form is far better? Relegation as never been based on home form its combination of both ...

Agreed, where we are is not good enough, but wilson exited me,not so much moore(except his price!) I am still waiting to make judgment on him,but i dont think he is the 20 g

Jonny,
The committee brought in a cheap manager, a yes manager to do their dirty work for them and clear out half the squad.
Harris even admitted this week, one year later he has reduced the squad drastically, reduced the wage bill and where we are in the League is not what we should be looking at, I disagree 100% all three matter.
Not many good managers would be happy to only be allowed loans after loans and only 3 permanent signings in 12 months, cleared out 23 players(including 10 U23's).
Harris tried to speak out, but was shot down by Dalman, he said heeded 4 players, then said he is happy with his squad.
For me Harris is a very enthusiastic manager, but will never get this team promoted or Cardiff City out of the Championship. Great lower league manager as Millwall found out.
But he suits this CCFC board as Harris is a yes man, done a Slade. They will sack him soon and everyone will say Harris was fully backed, but I disagree he cleared out a massive amount, sold players, but hardly bought anyone.
We have to give Harris credit in Great signings in Kiether Moore![]()

and Harry Wilson

its a results game and we are nearly quarter of the way through our season and so far, results def not good enough.

Yes the reults are not what we expect, moore? Jury still out for me,wilson we know has the talent, and he is proving it.need to drop bennett, give bagan his place, benkovic needs a game surely? So in real terms, harris got 4 in,with wilson moore benkovic and phillips,he or any other msnager was never going to be givdn a big war chest, and thats proven to be true, nobody has splashed out,so we did as best we could,in times never seen by any of us on this forum.I usually give mznagers a quarter of a season before judging, and so far for me,harris hasnt impressed me greatly,so for me,as most,he doesnt have long to change opinions! And as for clearing out the dead wood? I believe it was needed, squzd was bloated, with some high earners not even in matchday squad,a couple for years!it wasnt viable before covid, and certainly not viable in these times.
