We didn’t deserve to lose that game but ultimately we just couldn’t score so strangely enough we got what we deserved. As the commentator said at the end ‘Bristol didn’t have a shot on target in the last 92 minutes’
I think 442 suits us but a nippier forward.
Funny old game.

It’s laboured because at least four players can’t control the ball, so no tempo. Too much crab passing also destroys any intent to go forward. Same every match.

When we switched to 442 we had both wingers on the wrong foot again.....I will never understand this, ever !!!!

The club has got most of us with credit in the bank for next season, so I can see this being another Slade mark 2 season.

We were all over the shop with Wilson playing right back for 5 mins and Pack who in general played well still splits the centre halfs and leave acres of space in the middle.

I have never thought Harris would be good enough, he just doesn't have it, whatever it is, but he is marking time.

We stopped tossing around with the ball and looked forward. We just don't have a goal threat. Our set plays have gone to shit as well.

What from watching City or the Babes!

That’s the only thing that would raise my excitement

Summary of the game that i watched:
Cardiff got caught cold in first minute.
The rest of the game pretty even, with Cardiff having the better opportunities.
Prospects for the rest of the season? pretty good.

This is a season like no other. If you want to beat yourself up and be negative, go ahead.
No fans, no atmosphere, no certainty, is there any point?

We are definitely top 6, have a bit of patience and it will all come good.

I would imagine some of the players would have a look at this site to see what the fans think.
God knows what they would think of some of the opinions on this site. But hey ho everybody has the right of an opinion.

The Manager is a professional manager. The decisions he makes affect the club, the team, supporters, the owners, the sponsors and everybody else associated with the club.
The players are professional football players whose income will be greatly enhanced by the results that they produce.
We have a manager who wants to win games
We have a team that wants to win games.
Am i missing something here?
If you have an opinion make it but be realistic and take all the variables into consideration.

Moore frightens the life out of foreign defenders when he plays for Wales because their defenders are not used to his type of physicality, tonight he came up against what many of Us would agree is an average defender at this level and that defender won man of the match tonight. The balls played up to him by design are predictable he takes 5 or 6 touches to bring the ball under control with his back to goal And invariably it ends up directly to one of our CH, so far this season when he does get a chance in front of goal he is found wanting headers to often go over the bar. You beginning to see why many clubs gave him a miss, but it has to be said he puts in a shift. The success and yield of the long throw ins actually work against us because it is now so predictable and telegraphed we are just giving away possession in good areas, in short this is football from another era. There is little pattern of play and continuity that you would expect to see after the amount of games Harris has now had in charge, the good managers make an impact from the word go, and you can see what they are trying to do after about 10 games in charge. In all honesty if Mr Harris was sacked tomorrow which club in this division do you think would give him a job ?

Some good points there Monmouth

Re: My VIEW / OPINION TONIGHTS SEVERN SIDE DERBY ENDED WITH

What I would disagree with Monmouth is that when Keifer plays for Wales, he has superior supply from better players and occasionally plays against inferior teams.

I would also disagree with your statement about good managers hitting the ground running.
I think all managers rely on an element of good fortune when taking over a new team.
What Harris did at the tail end of last season was unbelievable, he rose a team that seemed dead and deserves every plaudit he received.
If you think that in the short term we are going to get a better manager than Harris you are sadly mistaken.
If you think the players are somehow not giving everything that they have got, you are delusional.
Why would a professional person try to undermine their earning potential? It makes no sense.

Because the opposition professional is better at hiding his weaknesses and exploiting ours ?

Bristol City head coach Dean Holden told Sky Sports: "People started getting a little bit edgy when we were on that little winless run, we’ve struggled lately till tonight.”

"But we have had two away games on the spin, two wins, with the players we've got missing - eight players tonight. It's an incredible team spirit we have got.

"The goal was real quality. That's how we want to play. Then they are throwing balls into our box with so much quality - Wilson, Ralls - and they have big target men who are up there as the best in the division.

"We had to fight for everything and I am just so proud of the performance."

Spot on !

I might be in the minority here but I thought that was as good a performance over a sustained period as we’ve had.

For a change we’ve created plenty of decent chances but not finished them.

After QPR I thought Harris had to go but I can see a progression now. That said, we need to start winning otherwise the season will get away from us.

I always said I would judge after 10 games and expected us to be top 6 so I should want him gone but this weeks win and last night we played enough to deserve the win.
Gut feeling he’s gonna turn it around

Well performances have improved even the pundits on sky say we've altered our style play and we are not long ball team although still use it during games like under warnock! We are creating lots chances in last 3 games convert one or two and we would be looking at totally different league table ... all it takes is 3 game winning streak but easier said and done with Harris's teams

We can barely manage a 1 win streak.

I have aluded to this point, moore has better players around him for Wales, but of late his finishing is showing why he was cheap! Needs a rest,or to play as a two up front at home.
