2000 troops!

Just heard 2000 military personnel have been deployed to Liverpool, to implement mandatory testing for every person there,wether you want to be tested or not,and will be running at a place near you soon!

I'm not a fan of being forced into anything,that's my choice not anyone else's. What's next,the mandatory injection???

The vaccination is a rear end job2 lots as well.They use a Billy Bunter book to give the sryinge a good bash.

No way could they do something like this yet !! Once the army is on the streets enforcing laws or mainly new laws then that is marshal law. And besides the only way the army could make testing mandatory is to frog March people out of there homes at gun point.
The Army belongs to the crown and because we have a monarchy no government can use her majesty’s forces against its own people and the squaddies would not do that anyway.
This is why a European Army is so so dangerous as it won’t belong to the monarchy. And any European army it would use foreign boots on the ground as they would have no moral problems dealing with the British public or vice versa.
So no I can’t see this happening.

Nukes, they could always employ the Pied Piper of Hamelin to sort it out up there...!

In fairness, this thread has now gone too far and to be fair to the OP, I know as a fact that he wasn't doing anything other than informing us of what he had become aware. Its not his style to be malicious and/or to spread misinformation and I do know that he was simply taken aback when he heard that troops were to be deployed on the streets and in particular the word 'mandatory testing', which were used on one report but were later confirmed in true media style as 'short of the truth'

200 tanks were seen on bricks this afternoon . The Army released a statement saying they have been to Afghanistan and Iraq and it’s far safer there. A big withdrawal apart from the tanks will happen before midnight tonight.

I don't see why anyone has an issue in being tested.....personally think people are selfish if they can't lose a small amount of time to be tested for the virus....

They have already stated there is nothing in the British vacine that has not been previously tested and accepted for human use.
I've anything in life some people will react to it badly. There is no vacine on earth that is 100% safe its impossible as everyone's body is different

Is it worth losing hundreds of thousands over few years of no vaccine to save a small percentage now who might or might not react badly to the vacine ?

as for believing internet bollux...im selective and check...you 100% do not...i have my own thought process...its a virus and at some point im likely to get it.....is basic thinking...as is knowing that vacines , apart from any thing else vary massively in their effectiveness.... you dont even need a double digit IQ to know both those without thinking too hard.......and as ive already said it really wouldnt take much for all those scared out of theit wits and looking at the vacine as the cavalry to be scared out of their wits by that very vacine..... its nonsense....at some point we are going to have to live with this and accept life expectancy will drop from 81.3 to 81.1 and instead of our annual deaths being about 1% they will now be 1.08%...

I'm not really sure what you are trying to say?

I don't like lockdowns anymore than you, Boris doesn't either he is locking down because the virus is far more virulent than flu and the government and Labour feel if they don't take drastic measures the NHS won't be able to cope.

I'm pro-vaccine because it will allow the World to get back to normal, then I'll be straight on a plane for holiday and back in pub's football matches and high-risk areas that are now restricted. I take advice from professionals like doctors and they all say the virus has been fully tested and will be as safe as houses, so that's good enough for me, I've had every vaccine recommended in the past and so have my children.
