Of the managers out of work, I’d go for Pearson - experienced, style would fit in and has had success in getting out of this league.

Those in work - curve ball, but go and get Cooper. Seriously, if we are serious about bringing through youth and developing young players he has a proper track record (not like Harris) and is clearly building on what they did last year (whilst Harris is moaning that we have some kind of hangover despite having been in the same position as they were).

Stranger things have happened but do you really think Cooper would leave Swansea for Cardiff (if it was his decision right now)
It's looking like he's developing something positive at Swansea ? and the owners must think so by allowing him to bring in the players he wants . Its not all roses there atm but its better to be looking down than up, especially in this league
Howe spent a lot of money to get to the PL and B/mouth were fined because of it , would Tan back him as much as Howes old Club would , the signs are no

No - I don’t think we’d have a chance. Point was more that if the club are serious about youth Cooper is/was a much better option than Harris ever was - he has a proven track record with youth and success in winning something. Both of the things that the board claim to want, yet the appointment of Harris never met any of those criteria.

Id love to see Eddie Howe, Slavisa Jokanovic or Michael Laudrup here but they're probably unrealistic tbh but hey, i never thought we'd be able to get Harry Wilson so who knows. More realistic options id like would be Craig Bellamy, Nigel Adkins, Nigel Pearson, or Paul Cook. Also wouldnt be against seeing Osian Roberts given an opportunity.

A foriegn manager with an attacking mindset the dros we are watching this season is bloody awful if we did have fans in the stadium harris and the board would get the message by the boo's and the attendances would be falling
You can only take so much.

Re: Who would you have to replace Harris

Cameron Toshack could be the one .Although he left Pafos because the owners wanted to change the way of playing which probably would be the reason why he wouldn't be considered nor himself consider the job.

We're at the start of the season for Christ sake with a squad that for the most part was inherited. Look at the player he's bought in. Moore looks like the best striker we've had in along time with 3 goals 1 assist. 3 great loan signings one of which has hands down been our best player and the a nother the most exciting loanne since Kaumas.

Is our football great at the moment? No. But were keeping the ball better as can be seen by our possession stats. Now we just need to start doing things with it. But what did people expect? To go from counter attack/hoof ball to a modern football style with no inbetween?

Let's not forget it wasn't that long ago we were praising him for taking us an inch from the play off final, and in warlmock is promotion season we lost 4 in a row at some point. Even remember a few asking for his head then.

It's not perfect and not a great start. But let's be better than this modern football trend of asking for out mangers head instead of supporting him.

Great shout, but even turning water into wine won't be enough. Bit concerned he might think turning the other cheek and thinking of others before ourselves might upset our promotion chances.

Mick McCarthy....Love us when he is co commentating. ;)

Bellers, done his time, been at the top level always has different ideas and looks like he finally has grown up

Pearson...Perfect fit

Pulis....At least he talks like us

Can't see Howe being interested in us.

I really would take a punt of Bellamy.

But they've forked out a few quid again. Why can't they do the same for a manager?

Were they clueless when they signed Mackay and Warnock ?

In fact they have appointed 6 managers since they have been here , two got us promoted , one to the playoffs and another is now manager of arguably the biggest club in the world.
The other two were just stop gaps

I would say there management choices have been pretty good and definitely not clueless

That was because his lad caused embarrassment for Leicester on a European trip when he was manager. Rock and hard place.

Have been looking on transfer mkt,and was surprised by the number of good managers available, depends on which way the board chooses to go,if they sack Harris. But some quality names available.
If Harris does go,I would love them to go for someone with experience.they are available, but at what cost?? :old: :bluebird:
