Frankly all four were useless handling the acute part of the crisis (March - June) with regard to PPE, Care Homes, Testing, Death Rate etc.
Each Government will be slaughtered individually and collectively for their decisions even after it is mitigated by the fact it was an unprecedented crisis.
What we are seeing now is decision's which aren't actually the correct decisions for the population at large, but are the correct decisions for those who are in power who will claim they managed the crisis correctly post June with a cautious approach designed to save lives until a vaccine becomes available. We don't hear much about the death rate ATM but come the enquiry it will be a central plank to the claims by those Governments that they 'got a grip' of the pandemic with an extremely low death rate compared to March/June.
From now on the only sensible decisions which are made will be those which are advantageous to those who are in power in each of the 4 Governments.

As usual WAG are not up to it. Some of the daftest things i have heard come from Cardiff bay, but lock down with the pubs open is beyond any sense.
If they "believe in the science" be true to it and not half measures. Whether you think the interpretation of the data is correct is a totally different scenario.
Caerphilly, Risca,Blackwood in "Lockdown" doesn't half make the headlines in the national news but upon closer inspection its totally pointless, like the Wales Government.

From 6pm tomorrow as a resident of Caerphilly I can't meet my family in my home, but wait a minute, I can go down the pub to see them.
As Drakeford likes to say "This is how we do it in Wales".
This needs to happen but how on earth can our Government let pubs / restaurants stay open.

No you cant!! You can only meet with people from your your own household in a pub in caerphilly after 6pm tonight. So the Welsh Government strategy makes sense. However, if the rules are not followed then pubs will be closed.

Just saw the Welsh news they seem to think it has spread in that area due to people having too many house parties and gatherings, not through going to the pub?

agree..id be very very surprised if Caerphilly was any worse than many scenes ive witnessed both live and been shown videos of... one of my sons and his mates went to SA1/ Wind St 3 weeks ago, they gave up on the Wind street bit because it was the busiest any of them had ever seen it including black Friday.. the video he showed me from SA1 had people lying around hammered, people spewing, cuddling , fighting, staggering around infront of taxis, cop cars and ambulances. and loads drinking from cans bought from supermarkets because the pubs were so full. and it was literally hundreds if not thousands. personally ive seen pubs with dancing and people nude on pool tables. and a queue for a club which was 50 yards long and everyone in the queue almost touching. im sure its similar most towns/cities where the kids have been couped up..
id be peed off too if whats happened to you was happening to me.. its not sense its WAG picking and choosing to make points..

Exactly mate, Gyms, which were one of the last things to open cos they were supposed to be dangerous are staying open. Work that one out. Genuinly feels like WAG decided to stick a pin in a map and pick out an authority to shame as a scare tactic to the rest of Wales, if they were that concerned it would be a proper lockdown.

There is no way on God's earth you are going to stop rise in covid as long as you allow people to socialise in enclosed areas like pubs! 9 out 10 deaths are over 65 with 50% over 75 so solution is put that age group in self isolation at home? Then the deaths wont be high as that's what politicians are only worried about.... Its Easier to finance that than have 100s of thousands unemployed long term when businesses close down with restrictions in place! What is strange is that they know how and where the rise occurs but dont close establishments that is likely cause they just stop people leaving an area .....

Do you genuinly believe that people that live in the County Borough of Caerphily are in anyway different or have treated the virus in any other way to anyone else in Wales cos I'm 100% positive they havnt.
But surely more people are getting tested because they have symptoms or have been near someone with a positive test, in other areas maybe they are not having a test for the opposite reasons?
I was away in England at the weekend and social distancing was non existent, the place I visited isn't even on the radar for transmissions. This has all come about because of mass testing in the area, and that is an absolute fact mate, it's out there to be seen unless you have your eyes closed.
