Without a doubt we are only seeing the tip of the iceburg of the gyps problems.

As things stand though, they are just a second city club, with a rusting council stadium, that is one of the smallest in the championship. The resident idiot keeps banging on about the 7 years in the premier , but it counts for diddly squat now.
More bad news to come from that neck of the trailer park I reckon.
Long may it continue.

European qualification via the English system. The League Cup. Top 10 and top 8 finishes.

Beating Liverpool 5 times, Manchester United and Arsenal 4 times each.. the list is extensive.

CELEBRITY ? as i said on another thread... what your most famous for is being 2 or 3 different posters all talking to each other on the same thread...
i know you have explained its not true and all a MYTH of Svens doing .
but never the less thats where your celebrity { for the want of a more apt word } comes from...

Indeed, I’m certainly a forum celebrity based on my views and accuracy track record. My views carry weight which is why I am essentially banned from giving those views on Cardiff topics as it’s too much to stomach.

Nobody other than idiots believe Svens silly and obviously incorrect claim, which may explain something. It is easily proved wrong as I’m sure most sensible people would know.

You got your autograph book handy?

Because the abuse isn’t working again? :D

Maybe try and debate the point at hand then? Surely you have learned that I will run rings around anyone who has a desire to drag a debate down to petty insults to the point they go running to the site owner/mods.

So where were we before the usual suspects derailed the thread....

Birch has gone to Spurs.

Anyone have any thoughts on that? If you think it’s a negative for the club then feel free to explain the impact that change will have on the club.

If you think it’s a positive change then again let the thread know why.

If you don’t care either way... why are you here? Click on another one. :D

Well doc, a good friend of mine who happens to be ITK down at the Liberty told me yesterday that the Americans are pulling in loans as they are not putting any more of their own cash in also there looks like a big expensive court case looking over who pays for the stadium upkeep, SCFC say it's council and council say it's in the lease contract that SCFC are hold liability.

Think old High Jenkins tucked the yanks up a treat after they thought they had done him over

No insults, no jokes just an upfront honest debatable question like you ask for

They have never put their own money into the club, sounds like your friend is mistaken. It’s never been in the business model of the club to take external investment, we haven’t had that in the last 2 decades, it’s very unfavourable to have external investment contrary to what a lot of football fans believe (unless that’s investment comes with no strings, which is rarely the case).

We have just taken on a new shareholder who bought into the club who may have access to loan on a more favourable loan repayment scheme than a bank would for example. It’s standard practice for cash flow reasons that often a transfer or television money will often be loaned from the bank in lieu of that guaranteed payment.

Maybe that’s what he was meant.

You are gone Roathie, if you survive in league 2 I reckon you will have done well. You have owners who have never needed to put any of their own cash in, they’ve either sold players or had sky cash. They’ve already lost millions for the hedge fund investors by buying a sinking ship. If we didn’t have a wealthy guy like Tan we’d be in trouble too like most championship clubs.
Oh well, at least you ain’t a real fan so it won’t really bother you too much. We will still be here for you, seeings as you care so much what we all think.

Swansea City Chairman quits club

Swansea have just lost their level 1 Accademy status and with no money available bid not look like they are in a goid position and the liberty stadium only rented, own virtually nothing .

No more parachute payments from the Premier leagues ,Chairman leaves sinking ship

Not sure where any of that information is coming from. Yes Birch has left for Spurs, he was always a temporary measure and don’t think anyone in their right mind felt Birch was a long term chairman. He is someone that goes in to clubs to stabilise them and move on, his career is clear.

However to clear up some inaccuracies:-

- We just spent nearly a million on Jamal Lowe. A player many on here wanted you to bid for.

- We still are getting parachute payments due to being in the Premier League for successive seasons. Ours run out the same year yours do (next season).

- We didn’t lose our academy status. We decided to downgrade as paying £4m a year for it in the Championship isn’t sustainable. It was intentional, it wasn’t an accident.

Lovely little nibble there! Enjoyed that one haha

Do you mean got banned? I don’t think I’ve stopped posting regularly since I started, which would have been the time you talked about. That won’t stop regardless of what happens on or off the pitch for either club.

If you have nothing to be bitter about then we wouldn’t be consistently the most active topics on your forum.

I have answered your question (more than once), it really wasn’t a difficult or pressing one. The one where you ask me why I don’t post on other forums, yes?

By all means put your accusations out there, those that tend to make accusations but unwilling to go into them generally means your accusation is nonsense to start with.

I am right aren’t I? :laughing6:
