sky sports tv programme still showing adverts for the blm cause? Maybe this is indication why the two people mentioned are favourites to replace the 3 white men? Even after all the pundits have drop the badge because of blms dubious agenda? And if Geoff goes so does the popularity of the programme bit like top gear did on bbc..

I’m not a fan of women’s football. Makes me laugh they go on about it now being fare?

Why don’t they build their own grounds rather than jumping on established grounds? It’s like women’s Tennis they want the same money but I don’t see them playing over 5 sets?

Everything is a joke these days.

If Sky are not careful they might alienate there hardcore customers. Whom I am sure are normal European white people.

Well I certainly wont be watching the Saturday show anymore! And they are in danger of losing viewers especially the Saturday show ones like me....I enjoyed the banter and chemistry between them.... others may be good but are as exciting as watching Fulham play... :D

Ian Wright should be sacked. Great player, shouty fool of a commentator. Shearer is also an embarassment. If you watch the Big Match, they had a great anchor man in Brian Moore, and knowledgeable guests whose job was to inform, not behave as if they're on a school outing..which seems to be the standard for alot of tv shows these days..

McCoist is a disaster on Talk Sport as well..nodding donkey.

It is more than Sports coverage where Sky are slowly losing the plot. Sky News used to be my default news channel but it is now awful and so woke. I hardly watch it now and prefer the radio.

SKY SPORTS AXES SHOWS AND ANOTHER PRESENTER

Sat Aug 29, 2020 9:12 am

Now im not one to have a go at Sky Sports but why on earth have they had this big clear-out when they never needed to. They gave us shows like The Debate, Goals On Sunday AND Sunday Supplement and they were amazing to watch on the Sunday ahead of further matches in the day.

It's a real shame that Sky got rid of veterans in the business who have been loyal to sky for a longtime. Fingers crossed people like Paul Merson and Jeff dont either walk or get the chop.

The presenter who got the latest sack is Scott Minto.

Can't say I'll miss any of them. Minto has the personality of a frog.

Difficult to word it any other way.

You all know what I mean us average normal respectful law abiding people who just get on with our lives. We are the ones who pay for Sky not those who want to disrupt and destroy the country we live in. Need I say more.

Change is fine but cutting short older pundits before they finish their contracts to replace them with, who.

I think we are in for a few years of stupid decisions the only thing on our side is that these new woke people don’t subscribe to companies like Sky.

If they don’t deliver and it all goes bells up for them what a laugh we can have. At the moment I can do without the BBC and tv in general, if that means Sky as well then so be it.

Sky’s next 3 appointments for Soccer Saturday could make or break them.

f*cking hell, you really are a fossil

Alex Scott is quality, lots of people like her thankfully and you are in the minority. She played to a very high standard in the women's game and knows what she's talking about when it comes to football, more than you I would imagine.

She has a good personality and is a top notch TV presenter.

I remember getting most of my football fix of Cardiff City from soccer Sunday and Jonny Owen who is now also on talk port apparantly, care to enlighten me to what standard he played the game at?

Only watch the Saturday show with geoff when I watch footy on whatever station I do not stop after the game to listen to pundits that's for sure ...
If want up know what the Saturday show brings only got to go to utube and watch geoffs rant on Middlesbrough classic tv

Sadly the daily mail and others are race baiting.

I'm no fan of sky but they have not gotten rid of these guys to specifically replace them with black pundits, they are just freshening things up... Maybe or maybe not some of the new pundits will be black.

And let's be honest, those leaving are not good pundits anymore... They do almost zero homework and are their on reputation rather than merit and are pretty predictable and boring. So sky are right in my view to make some changes.

On social media people started racially abusing Micah Richards for taking a white man jobs.... Jesus, What's wrong with people. He hasn't even been on sky and hadn't been offered the job.

There we go then, must be true

Haha exactly. Three middle aged white men that talk their fair share of bollox are being moved on and the team being refreshed. If there were talk of three white people taking their place this post wouldn't be here. Trying to divide and make issues where there aren't any.

Refreshed is the perfect way of putting it, 2 blokes in their 60’s and one in his 50’s being replaced by 2 people in their 30’s. Football has evolved massively in the past 30 years, if you want the best analysis you hire people who understand the current game. Also Alex Scott is a fantastic commentator, I remember at the World Cup (I believe it was her) she was the only one interested in teams that weren’t England, she had stats, opinions, knowledge on all the teams she was watching unlike the rest who would speak about Sir ‘arry and “our boys” for 90mins and occasionally remember there was a game in the background.

You do realise employing someone or rather sacking someone based on their age is illegal. In this case they would be on contracts - so the contract is simply not being renewed, perfectly allowable.
It's easy to create a dividing line and people will find lots of them. Age, race, gender - take your pick.
If Sky or the bbc had got rid of Ian Wright, Chris Kamara and Garth Crooks and replaced them with Neil Warnock, Alex McCleish and Roy Hodgson - would there have been raised eyebrows ?

Why arent there any chinese pundits / commenators ? or asian ones ?.

Too many pundits these days - lets go back to Jimmy Hill, Tony Gubba and Brian More :old:

Every team needs freshening up so no issue with the 3 going or the 2 that are coming in.....not exactly a wealth of new pundits coming through tho.
Like Micah Richards and Alex Scott ....times are a changing ....

im afraid what i said about the standard of womens football is accurate... maybe not hip and trendy, and maybe in the next life it might be different who knows.. ? but there have been many friendlies between top end women and decent schoolboy sides which invariably end up with boys winning..

as for jonny owen ,i had to google him.. an actor ? ... but does sort of put the remarks into perspective..

It's been cringeworthy reading through some of the comments on this thread! Three "pundits" who are clearly only in the role in the first place as they're "one of the lads" are being replaced by those who will hopefully improve the analysis and entertainment on show and the first reaction from the majority on here is to reveal their caveman like views on women and non-white people.

I'm certainly not a far-lefty, but I for one am glad to see the back of Thompson, Nicholas and Le Tissier. Not because I want to see female or black pundits in their position, but because they were simply awful at their job. Stelling holds the whole show together and so long as he's still the host then I'll continue to watch.
