Whatever happened beforehand, the context to what happened, it's still disgustingly wrong that a man had his life taken from him by another man who was kneeling on his neck....end of story.
If the situation was this, it kicks off outside a Swansea v Cardiff game, a drug dealing Cardiff City fan starts fighting and a policeman does exactly the same thing to him. Can you imagine the uproar on here??
The only difference would be that it wouldn't be linked to "us and them" politics. George Floyd was black and started to make people aware of racial inequality, very rightly in my eyes.
It's no threat to me as white man, people that have been enslaved and mistreated for years are asking for the same treatment as everyone else.
Take emotion out of it, take the media spin out of it and take the "oh but there are bad black men so they don't deserve equality" out of it and on a basic human level I don't see how anyone can have an issue with racism being addressed.
Some of the comments on here have made me embarrassed to be a Cardiff fan, imagine Mendez Lang or Hoilett or a black city player reading them.
The day we get rid of this , us and them, rubbish will be a good day.
You think Floyd was the one who first made people aware of racial inequality?
Who living in the West today has been enslaved or mistreated for years?
Who’s said black people don’t deserve equality.
Specifically what racism isn’t being addressed.
he must mean me.. I've been enslaved by the Govt, and mistreated by women for years. It needs addressing.

Imagine how his victims feel with all this poor Floyd bullshit
And thanks to this scum man I no longer am renewing my season ticket, bending a knee ,fist pumping has left a very sour taste, I'm not paying to watch that.
First time I'm not renewing in 27 years

If that's the sole reason for 'not renewing', then you're deluding yourself and deceiving us...
George Floyd or no George Floyd, the 'kneel' is just a gesture that many (rightly) were looking for in order to highlight their perceived injustices with regard to the so-called 'race card' and should be seen as such; nothing more
As for Underhill80, I only have one thing to say...next time you say "that's enough, I'm out of here", have the balls to follow up your declaration rather than sneaking back on under another name. Your rhetoric doesn't change!

Sven
I accept your comments, we are all entitled to them.
And yes before all this knee bending hypocrisy I was debating to renew or not. My 9 year old son wants to play on a Saturday (currently plays on a Sunday) so for me this nonsense was the final straw, and a difficult one I think about daily.
But
I do not believe racism is a huge problem in the UK, we just seem to follow America. It's disrespectful to the huge majority of us Welsh/British who bend over backwards to accommodate all colours, all religions.
I love CCFC, always will, I've told my son if he supports anyone else il disown him haha. I've done 69 league grounds with CCFC plus Enfield, Gloucester, Bath, Merthyr, Ton Pentre in the 80s
And no doubt will get a season ticket in the future when it all dies down, (if my son let's me).
But I can't handle all this nonsense, I struggled with the red nonsense.
this for me is almost as ridicolous as that.

This nonsense has created hate and division that wasn't there before.
I hope it calms down but from what I'm seeing, hearing it doesn't look likely.
Why any human being thinks colour of skin is an issue is beyond me.
I judge by character, that includes my own (and I have many faults I try to address to be a better man). We are all just human beings regardless of colour, religion, sexuality.
I tell my lad, "remember you are not better than anyone else and they are not better than you. We are all equal"

Would those saying it’s innocent be so tolerant of a white player Giving a straight arm Nazi salute ? Nah I don’t think so.
But yes the reason why I haven’t renewed is Marxism has got into football and politics is a no no in the stadiums.
Also it’s going to be a totally shit football experience and no guarantee of getting In the ground.

Hello Allan
That question was pose on talk radio to Femi Oluwole, a clown to be fair,
He couldn't give a decent answer on it as to be fair
all this at present is more racist to white folk than black folk.

Well no surprise.... ask question because the inference from ms "what's her name" was only stopped because she was black and in nice car? Even though she was treated with respect and reason for being stopped .was explained to her but she accused police of profiling her? So if got dodgy car and your bame police shouldn't stop you only stop white people...
