Match facts
There hasn’t been a draw in the last 10 league games in which Cardiff City have hosted Hull, with the home side winning six and losing four.
After losing three successive league games versus Hull City without scoring, Cardiff are unbeaten in their following three (W2 D1), including a home win in their last encounter at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Cardiff are unbeaten on their final league game of the season in each of the last five campaigns (W3 D2), since a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in May 2014 when finishing bottom of the Premier League.
Hull have lost their last five league games; they haven’t lost six in a row since October 2016 – in the Premier League.
Following their 2-1 victory against Derby in their last home game, Cardiff will be aiming to win back-to-back matches on home soil for the first time since December.

City win for me, but still sitting on the edge of my seat and the match has not even started yet!

Yes, I agree. It's easy to be a doom and gloom merchant but ultimately we should see off a Hull side already down
Hull need a 15 goal win to even stand an unlikely chance and I fully expect at least one of the teams around them to pick something up knowing a draw will do

Cardiff boss Harris looking to maintain momentum
Cardiff City v Hull City (19:30 BST)
Since Neil Harris took over as Cardiff City manager in November, he has lifted the Bluebirds from lowly 14th to the brink of a play-off place.
BBC Sport Wales spoke to the former Millwall player and manager about how he feels the momentum is with his side heading into this evening's last match at home to Hull.

Bright start for Glatzel as City carve two early chances
Hull not looking in great spirits and an early Bluebirds goal would certainly help the occasion

That’s why you start Hoilett probably our most talented player in term of shooting. Scored a hell of a lot of goals for a winger in our system.

GOAL: Cardiff 1-0 Hull
Junior Hoilett (20 mins)
Big goal for the home side.
Junior Hoilett has put Cardiff in front with a nice finish across the keeper into the far corner, it has been coming to be honest.
It's an uphill task for bottom side Hull now.
