Morrison clears again from the corner then Mendez-Laing does well to win a free-kick.

Some stunning interplay down the right between Bacuna and Hoilett. Mendez-Laing then picks it up and lays off Ralls 25 yards out.

The midfielder thumps one from range and Pears has to make a smart save from the vicious shot before Hoilett's follow up is wide.

Strong start here.

Hoilett's injury proves too troublesome and he is taken off.

Josh Murphy comes on.

Awesome play by Glatzel yet again deffo should have been a red.

So far City's defence looks solid

NML, Ralls, Tomlin and Glatzel all playing very good thus far.

Mendez-Laing does well to fashion his own chance, cutting in from the left and firing an effort at goal. It is blocked and trickles out for a corner.

Cardiff can't make the set piece work this time and Pears collects in the end.

Tomlin slips in Ralls in the middle of the park and the midfielder bombs on towards the box. He whips in a ball to the back post, where it is met by Bacuna, who just cannot get a clean contact on it and sends it out for a goal kick.

Ashley Fletcher pulls Curtis Nelson's shirt and it's a free-kick to Cardiff in their own half.

Bacuna slips in Robert Glatzel down the right and the striker draws the foul from George Friend. Strong stuff there and a free-kick in a good area for Cardiff.

Smithies bombs a kick down the right and Murphy meets it and holds it up, forcing Marvin Johnson to concede a corner.

Lee Tomlin fires a cross across goal and Pears flaps at it, but manages to get it away from danger.

Need that 2nd goal although look comfortable they have shown signs of a threat down the left

City well in control and Middlesborough have nothing upfront as of yet. Need a second goal as always to take the sting out of the game

I wish someone would grab Nelson and stop him going out of position and losing it in midfield. Puts us under unnecessary pressure. He does it every game Nd could have cost us just before half time again.

Hes playing well but he seems to lose his head and make stupid decisions.
