You do make oi larff!

No hypocrisy; its just the difference between people who care and people who don't

Single me out amongst all the comments that disagree with your own view by all means (including a couple that mention jail) but my shoulders are wide and it suggests our paths crossed under one (or more) of your former names

Just make sure you got the ability to take some back and expect to get it with interest, Kermit!

The only reason I singled you out was because of your English reference. I think you might find that some of our own are more than capable of a performance be it in majorca or ogmore

I have no idea whatthe kermit reference is and I only joined this site four months ago due to lockdown boredom and I can assure you that I would not have been arsed to create some sort of alias ffs

Because they are allowed to?

You only have to look at the lockdown, factories allowed to stay open. I say allowed, as one owner said at the start, he couldn't afford to lose money and close down and stayed open with many others and nothing done to check they were indeed shut; so in my eyes, they were allowed ;)

Don't get me started on furlough fraud!

Then the protests, again allowed despite being in lockdown still. The list is endless, there seems to be little done to control disorders, here and abroad, although the latter happens to rely on British tourism and the money it brings to their economy. They know if they say "brits are banned" they would only be cutting their own noses off to spite their faces.

I must say, although not totally exempt from such disorders from Brits in Turkey it doesn't get anywhere near the behaviour of brits in spain!! Maybe it's because if it did happen, it would be swiftly dealt with by the Turkish police and if needed the army!

And being honest, it's one of the reasons we go back there so often. Getting pissed and having a laugh is one thing but I don't get this mass brawling b@locks tbh. It's not like I haven't witnessed it at NP, etc. but on holiday? Really??

We look to go away and have a lovely relaxing time, not be surrounded by piss heads intent on having a ruck and spoiling other people's holidays in the process

It's the reason I have only visited Benidorm once, yet I am a shared owner with my brother of a villa 70km up the road in Benissa!!

11am on the beach front, ladies puking with their thong clad arses on display, people staggeringly pissed, falling over, shouting obscenities to passers by, is not my idea of a holiday at all I'm sorry,.

Fair enough if it's your cup of tea; but for me, I'll stick to the villa and Turkey. :old: :bluebird:

Have to agree.
Always has happened, always will happen virus or not.

Same all over not just Spain and not just British.

Nobody can complain if they have done the same anywhere ....at a football match or on holiday ...pandemic or not .
Can’t see the firms socially distancing when the grounds open up somehow

People just having a blow out before the second national lockdown comes in a few weeks because of the protests . The death rate already doubled yesterday . Its not a coincidence .

If they are allowed to do that in magaluf then it is just as much the fault of the local police and government for not enforcing social distancing as it is the people who I very much doubt were all British.

They were not Thomas, caught the police unaware as nothing like this since last Summer, Brits only just arrived, I guarantee it won’t happen again over here :D :thumbright:

Guardia Civil back on full alert :thumbright: :thumbright:

Probably not
I'm sure tonight will be a lot different . The police don't really give second chances abroad.
Ideally we need a worldwide agreement that every country has to adhere to regarding pandemics. Whilst we have every country doing things differently it will always be confusing and have things like this happen because people think its acceptable once out of there own country like these idiots.

With a population at the last count of 53,107,163 (over 10 x more than the populations of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland combined, it is clear that the majority of these people will come from (dare I say again) Engerlund...

So having a 'pop' at the majority of English who cause these problems over calling for them to be sent to jail singles me out, eh? :?

Take a look at the conduct of their football 'fans' at the last Euros and then take a look at the conduct of the Welsh supporters and those from other parts of the UK at similar events...Hmmmmm

It's a cultural thing in England, where large groups think they can do WTF they like when away and (largely) get away with it

I'm not anti-English. My descendants are mainly English (and Scandinavian) and I have lots of English friends and colleagues who I both like and respect

It may well be your 'bag' but it's not mine and why I have never/will never 'holiday' in certain places where my hard-earned enjoyment is limited by the loutish actions of others

As I said... :kermit:

I think the latest stat said only 17% of the UK intended to go abroad, it's safe to say they are not the brightest bunch!

I think you need to see what’s happening at home, ogmore,Roald Dahl plass, a load of car enthusiasts at Asda Pontprennau tonight.
the uk don’t seem to give a shit about the virus.
I’m on a family holiday in Gran Canaria ATM and you can’t get in a shop unless you have a face mask and sanitize your hands

I agree with all the above sven  especially the last sentence.the first I don't agree with the figures you have quoted? 10x the population of Wales Scotland and Northern Ireland? ? There are roughly 10 million people in the three combined, to make it 10x the combined population would mean the uk having a population of a 100m. 10x the population of Scotland yes,but not all 3 together, not being a pedant mate, just confused as to how you arrived at those figures  :old: :bluebird:
