During the season I’m talking about. We did the double over Reading comfortably. So comparing a situation like that (clearly being dominant over the other opponents) to this season where neither Swansea or Cardiff have managed to beat Brentford or Fulham in 8 attempts between us - suggests this seasons playoffs is a much tougher proposition.

As things stand, neither us or yourselves have beaten either Fulham or Brentford in 8 attempts this season.
The likelihood is whoever finishes 6th will be facing one of them and if we do manage to prevail over 2 legs - the other one will be waiting in the final.

Don’t be so ludicrous, I say it as it is, always have. But people are very sensitive to the truth.
I don’t see how taking 2 points from 12 and winning zero is a positive to be fair. But if this is something you feel you need to vigorously defend as the reason you can beat both in succession then be my guest.

I have no reason to like or dislike them, they seem irrelevant.
2 points out of a possible 12 and zero wins against the two teams in question is hardly worthy of a point being made. It essentially backs what I said in the first place.
But if you feel that strongly about it that you accuse me of “taking positives away from Cardiff” then as I said, be my guest.

just pointing out how top 6 record and what you do...have always done . which is then followed by this squirming, twisting dog with a bone thing...

Between us both, we have had 8 attempts combined at beating them this season and not managed it once. The likelihood is the 6th placed team will need to beat them both in succession.
Very unlikely. Very.

Brentford have lost both games against Nots forest, and Fulham have lost one game against forest this season

I wouldn’t go that far. Important to be realistic at this stage. 1 point behind with a better goal difference gives us every chance.
My point is that regardless who gets 6th - there is very little chance of promotion over 3 games vs the two clubs we are discussing.

They have been on fire since the re start, and now only a point behind WBA! If weeds lost two and draw one of their next 3 and the others win their final 2 games, weeds could fall to 3rd!! Anyway, let's just worry about us eh? Win the next 2 games and we are there in the mix, where anything is possible,Brentford held on to an early lead in their game last night, but didn't play particularly well, they could well sneak into top 2 though.and whoever drops out of autos will be devastated, after all both have been there for some time now.keep the gaith![]()

Even if Leeds won a game and lost the other 2 they would end up third if the other won their games as WBA would be a point ahead of them and Brentford would be level but with a far superior goal difference.
Unlikely yes but not impossible as they have proven to be a team full of bottlers in the past and their manager is an expert in failure who has failed at every club job he has had in Europe. Would love it if the miracle happens and they blew it as I have no doubts we would also beat them in playoffs causing their fans and the media that bum them to go into meltdown

Just did my run in prediction on this https://www.worldfootball.net/table_cal ... mpionship/
I gave you 4 points from your last 3 which is pretty generous given who your playing in it and you still finished 10th with 67 points. We ended up 6th with 69 points above Millwall on goal difference just.

Also I was one of the few amongst the gloom and doomers on here that actually predicted that at worst we would be in the playoffs come the end of the season.
