During the season I’m talking about. We did the double over Reading comfortably. So comparing a situation like that (clearly being dominant over the other opponents) to this season where neither Swansea or Cardiff have managed to beat Brentford or Fulham in 8 attempts between us - suggests this seasons playoffs is a much tougher proposition.

Logic would tell you that's the case, but this is football and if either team won the next three in a row and went into them with confidence anything could happen.

The good news is we have an extra days recovery time over Derby, while you have a day less recovery over Forrest, so hopefully, we can take advantage, although I think seven more points would see us finish sixth.

We were the better team both times against Fulham and home to Brentford. I’d give us a chance. What happened in season is irrelevant, it’s a new competition and very different to the league games. We are improving every game under Harris. Yes it will be hard but who thinks the playoffs are easy?!

Trick is (When P5/6) to win at home first and then sit back, make them chase the game and play on counter 2nd leg.

Can't believe west brom and Brentford have both lost,ahhh well,it's the play off lottery then has to be seen as a cup this year,in all honesty I believe we are not ready for the prem,pretty much how we wern't prepared for the last promotion, a manager has a responsibility to inform us fans,that our club is aiming for the top,albeit knowing we are not ready as we stand,and before anyone says I'm a killjoy,I certainly ain't, and will be dancing in the moonlight, if we achieve the dream,just like all of us (well maybe barring a few!)
