I turned over for the second half to Sky 2 where they had no simulated crowd noise and that improved it for me. Maybe it will take a couple of games to get players up to speed but it looked very slow for a lot of the time.
By contrast BT seem to have got it right with the Bundesliga which I have really enjoyed since it came back. The crowd noise is not over bearing and I have really enjoyed getting to know the teams better - the games just seem more exciting and there is still a lot riding on the final two matches to come. Some really top notch young players out there too.
Perhaps Liverpool's inevitable title has taken the edge off the Premiership for me, not that I begrudge it to them, but other than the minor places there is not a lot for the top sides to play for. It will be a whole different ball game when the Championship returns though...
Totally with you on the German league, much more enjoyable
Leipzig are a joy to watch
Bayern, Dortmund,Leipzig, Leverkusen, Monchengladbach all go at teams for the full 90 minutes and play some terrific attacking football, but even the teams at the lower end of the league such as Mainz can be excellent in some of their movement; they scored two goals Man City would have been proud of last night against Dortmund.
German league has overtaken the prem for me
It's more exciting and passionate
Before the lockdown I watched Schalke
There fans were loud, dancing about having a whale of a time
And they were losing

When the Sheffield United goal was disallowed, they should have played 'the referee's a wanker' to keep it realistic.
Can I vote after Sunday
Sunday is a foregone conclusion
We always beat Leeds
